This code is part of the NAMS project hosted at
https://github.com/Kline-/NAMS and is being
re-released separate from NAMS under the zlib
license.

The code contains Doxygen style commenting
throughout and implements a Utils namespace
containing general purpose utility functions
such as string formatting and useful macros.

This has been tested and compiled on Debian 6.0.6
using g++-4.6.2 without errors or warnings.
