Heimdall~
Heimdall, guardian of Bifrost, stands guard over the Rainbow Bridge.~
Standing over 9 feet tall and muscled as only a god can be, Heimdall keeps
his unsleeping gaze over the Rainbow bridge. His trusty Gjallor-horn never
leaves his side, and shall remain unwinded until the dread ship Naglfar sails
towards Valhalla on the dawn of Ragnarok.

The Chat Room~
You are lounging in a quiet cosy parlour, warmed by a gentle magical fire
which twinkles happily in a warm fireplace. This is one of the many rooms
where the heroes and gods come to socialize. It is by far one of the most
comfortable!

You find yourself in a strange and eerie place, yet you feel somehow at
ease. A solitary candle flickers in the far corner casting shadows which
dance along the walls. The room, whilst tidy enough suggests that its
inhabbitant spends more time elsewhere. Dust lies heavily on the floor and
cobwebs cling onto any surface where they can gain purchase. In the center
of the room stands a comfortable if what humble looking chair, Its ancient
oak panelling enscribed with the word 'Fear'.

The Eye of the Hurricane~
The shrieking winds of a monstrous storm surround you, spinning you around
in an endless web of fury. But then, in the middle of turmoil, you find a
strange calm. You find yourself hovering in the calm eye of a hurricane. All
around you you can see the desruction caused by the powerful storm. White
hot flashes of lightning flicker from the depths of the hurricane. But
everything is strangely peaceful in here, with the sun shining in from above
and a flock of birds winging across the sky. You stretch out and relax, this
storm is going to be here a while.

The proud and lonely silence of Mare Imbrium surrounds you, as you gaze upon

wistful regret touches you, as you think about what might have been, and what

The Cancer Memorial Reading Room~
Half read books lie everywhere: Yeats, Tennyson, Chandler, Barrie;
a battered paperback de Laclos; a dusty leather-bound Donne. A
damp novel perches precariously on the edge of a large bathtub.
As your eyes travel beyond the steam rising to the air toward the
rose-brambled balcony railing, you notice a well-creased printout
of a poem sitting on a the velvet cushions of a rosewood chair
that has been set so as to see the stark black mountains
from one angle, or the wine-dark sea from another.

. `Cruel and sudden, hast thou since
Purpled thy nail in blood of innocence?
Wherein could this flea guilty be,
Except in the drop it sucked from thee?
Yet thou trimph'st and say'st that thou
        Find'st not thyself, nor me the weaker now;
'Tis true, then learn how false fears be:
Just so much honour when thou yield'st to me
Will waste as this flea's death took life from thee.'
~
E

. 'One is very soon bored of everything, my angel; it is a law
of nature. It is not my fault.
If, that is to say, that I am bored with an adventure that has
claimed my attentions for four mortal months, it is not my fault.
If, that is to say, my love is equal to your virtue - and that
is certainly saying a great deal - it is not surprising that
one should come to the end at the same time as the other. It
        is not my fault.
A woman that I love madly now insists that I give you up for
her. It is not my fault.
I quite realize that this is the perfect opportunity to accuse
me of perjury: but if, where nature has gifted men with no
more than constancy, she has given women obstinacy, it is
        not my fault.
Believe this, you should take another lover, even as I take
another mistress. This is good, very good advice: if you
find it bad, it is not my fault.
Good-bye, my angel. I took you with pleasure, I leave you
without regret. I shall come back perhaps. Such is life.
        It is not my fault.

. "My mariners
Souls that have toiled, and wrought, and thought with me -
The ever with a frolic welcome took
The thunder and the sunshine, and opposed
         Free hearts, free foreheads - you and I are old;
Old age hath yet his honour and the toil
Death closes all; but something ere the end,
Some work of noble note, may yet be done,
Not unbecoming of men that strove with the gods.
         The lights begin to twinkle from the rocks;
The long day wanes; the slow moon climbs; the deep
         Moans round with many voices."

A copy of Peter Pan is opened near the end:

What sort of form was Hook showing? Misguided man though he
was, we may be glad, without sympathising with him, that in
the end he stayed true to the traditions of his race. The
other boys were flying about him now, flouting, scornful; and
as he staggered about the deck striking at them impotently, his
mind was no longer with them; it was slouching in the playing
fields of long ago, or being sent up for good, or watching
the wall-game from a famous wall. And his shoes were right,
and his waistcoat was right, and his tie was right, and his
socks were right.

Above the staggering girl, her thighs carressed
By the dark webs, her nape caught in his bill,

How can those terrified vague fingers push
The feathered glory from her loosening thighs?
And how can body, laid in that white rush,
But feel that strange heart beating where it lies?
A shudder in the loins engenders there
The broken wall, the burning roof and tower
And Agammemnon dead. Being so caught up,
So mastered by this brute blood of the air,
Did she put on his knowledge with his power
Before his indifferent beak could let her drop?

Mea's Private Quarters~
This large room looks like a cross between an office, and a bedroom.
Candles scattered all over the room give off enough light to be able
to see quite well. The floor is stone, as are the walls and ceiling.
A large stone fireplace is set into one wall, and a small fire warms
that area of the room. A large oversized chair is placed in front of
the fireplace along with a small end tables covered with papers and
books.
On the far side of the room, a large four-poster bed is set back in
the corner. A black mesh curtain shadows your view of the inside of
it. Beside it, another book-laden table is placed. Cloaks are hung
up on pegs against the wall'all the same. The room is shrouded in
dark colors, yet doesn't seem depressing at all.
Finally, a large granite desk sits in the middle of the room. Papers,
books, and numerous other items lay scattered about it. A black
leather chair sits between the desk and the rest of the room facing

the someone is here with you, watching. Waiting...

Hypnos Room of Dreams~
As you gaze upon this room, where sun never dares to shine.
You see a small opening which perceives itself to be a cave.
Small poppies grow abundantly nearby while swaying with
no wind prevalent. Silence consumes all as nothing makes
a sound but the beaming voice of The God of Sleep.
All around you are dreams forgotten and dreams being
manifested. You realise you don't want to be here long
for sweet sleep shall overcome you as well..

Thanatos' Office~
A large room seemingly stretching on forever. The floor is covered in
deep plush black carpeting which soaks up all possible sounds of walking.
The walls are also dark, being covered in what looks like leather. The
eastern wall has a large picture window covered by sheer black drapes.
Through it, you see a huge rock garden, the centerpiece of which is a large
grinning skull. In the center of the room is an enormous mahogany desk, so
dark it seems to be a standing shadow.

On the desk are several quill pens, a silver inkwell, and a large ledger,
all showing some signs of wear and use. A dust covered lamp sits at one
edge, and though it is off, the room is well lit. The wall the desk faces
is completely covered with hourglasses sitting on long mahogany shelves. The
wall seems to be moving as hourglasses run out, vanish, and are replaced
by other hourglasses. On closer inspection, you notice each hourglass
bears a name - you briefly wonder how long it would take to find your own.
On an endtable, two glasses sit, resting sideways, their sands immobile.

The main furnishing is a large executive style chair, quite plush, thickly
cushioned, and completely covered in blood red leather.

Macabre's Room~
You have entered a room that appears to be well used, or perhaps unused,
your not sure which. The piles of rubbish and general disarray of the place
is one of near magnificence, a monument to disaster. The desk that sits
near the center of the room has many stacks of mismatched books about it's
emminsce surface. Looking closely at the desk where the books don't cover
reveals at map the appears nearly alive. The faint glow given off of the
desk creates an eerie atmosphere. Book cases the appear to have been
emptied into stacks on the floor line the walls. A small fire place
collects cobwebs and dust, as though it has never been used. From the
entrance of this room you notice a path where the dust is a bit thinner and
follow it across the room. Where you find a chair. Its simple and yet
somehow you sense a strong aura of magic flowing from it. A sudden chill
runs down your spine as you realize the owner of this room is none other
then Macabre himself.

The Tower Cell~
This dreary tower cell has a sole window looking out onto a beautiful
garden far below. In the garden, the ladyfolk of court come to enjoy the
air and sunshine of a freedom the occupants of the tower can only dream
about. The stone about the barred window is worn smooth, and you can see
how the prisoners spent their hours, dreaming of the beauty they see, but
will never come to know.

Kalei's Room~
A gentle breeze billows the lacy white curtains covering double french doors.
Through the doors is a vast marble swirled balcony. The stone railings
inscribed with intertwining roses have vases overflowing with a rainbow of
different varieties of wildflowers placed along it. All the lands of the realm
are visible from this height. Billowy clouds float nearby, with mountain peaks
peeping through them, further down are the valleys and caves. Birds chirp
and flutter about the balcony.
Turning around towards the doors, one sees in the middle of the room a huge
four poster bed with two steps leading up to it. A skylight in the high
ceiling gives the room a sunny airiness. In one corner is a large oak desk.
On the white walls are various pictures of people important in Kalei's life.
Along the other wall is an overstuffed loveseat with several chairs placed
in front of it.

Omega and Chloey's Private Sanctuary~
This is a private room, where Omega and Chloey shall forever be together.
It is rather plain, when the two were together, they needed little else.
You here a gentle tune in the background, lyrics go something like this,
"She is always on my side, she's always on my side, I am always on your
side, I'm always on your side. We're always on your side...."

Illusions~
A thick gray mist hovers about waist level and spreads out in all
directions as far as the eye can see. The mist rolls lazily wherever air
moves. A wooden desk is barely visible below the mist. Faint outlines of
bodies seem to form in the mist and disappear again. Is there really noone
else here?

Gradium's Elemental Library~
All along the wall you see periodic tables with the element 117, the
element Gradium highlighted. In the corner of the room a beaker is filled
with the element Gradium, and is glowing brightly illuminating the room.
