Never mind that, I was just feeling grumpy at the time. Exam week had me
on the edge, and it appeared as if every idea I had was scythed down by
ruthlessly talented people! :) I've gotten over that now, hoping that if I
pester people enough, I will finally win them over if only out of
hopelessness and sheer boredom...

Actually, these are very relevant and very useful discussions. I've heard
the term "design by committee" being described as something bad (I have no
real experience in the matter myself), but I think we are resolving a lot
of hard issues, finding faults in proposed systems and building solutions
to difficult problems quite efficiently here!

What is called for right now is some kind of coordination of every subject
we have discussed, what we have decided on, what's left to decide, some
random thoughts or good ideas, which ideas we have discarded and why (the
why is important -- there is nothing more frustrating than going back to
your design notes and wondering "we discarded that, but for what
reason?"). Website, perhaps? *innocent*
