text The notes on this mud replace the bulletin boards and mail systems found on
various other muds. There are a number note categories, or boards, available
to players that you can read and/or post to. These include notes, ideas,
changes, and news. You can only post to notes and ideas though. Posting to
changes and news are reserved for immortals. `+
`+
When you log in, you will be informed that you have messages for you on the
different boards. To check this at any time after log in, type `=Cunread`=? to
see what messages you have waiting. To read the next message on any
particular board, just type the name of the board that the message appears
on; i.e. to read the next note, type: note.`+

text `MWriting Notes on Dawn of Time`=?`+
`+
There is more than one way to write a note. You will always have to enter
the "to" line and the "subject" line. Do that as follows:`+
`s"note" is interchangeable with "idea"`+
`+
`=?note to : sets the to line (playername or clanname)`+
`=? = note to all will go to everyone`+
`=? = note to immortal will go to the immortals`+
`=? = note to admin will go to the admin immortals`+
`=? = note to <council> will go to an Imm Council (`CSEE HELP COUNCIL`=?)`+
`=? = note to noble will go to the nobles`+
`=? = note to <clanname> will go to a clan (`CSEE HELP CLANLIST`=?)`+
`Y*`=?If you have multiple recipients of the note, enter one name after another,
seperated by a space. DO NOT separate the names with commas, otherwise people
may not receive their note.`+
`+
note subject :this will set the subjet for a new note`+
`+
`RNote Method #1:`=?`+
With this method you build your note one line at a time. Don't try writing
the whole note in one line, else some of it might get chopped off. You'll
be warned when you reach the maximum character length of the line, when your
line gets chopped off.`+
`+
note + :add a line to a new note (i.e. note + hi guys!) `+
note - :removes the bottom line from a note in progress `+
`+
`RNote Method #2:`=?`+
If you are familiar with the editor (used for entering the long description,
`Chelp DESCRIPTION-EDITOR`=? for more details) then you can type `Rnote edit`=? and
this will enter you into the editor. You must have a note started by either
using giving the note a subject (note subject), or a recipient (note
to.) Everything you type within the editor is entered into the note you are
working on.`+
`+
Other options:`+
note clear :erase a note in progress`+
note show :shows the note you are working on`+
note post :MUST be done to post a new note`+
