Whoa. Your upload is bigger than the download? And those speeds are quite impressive Kiasyn.

It's pretty crazy. This is just phase 1 of the upgrades. Phase 2 includes a 250mbit/s line with unlimited bandwidth but it's $120/m. I wont be getting that one :D. However, once phase 2 roles around, I can get a 100mb/s line with a bunch more data for only $10/m extra.

The top tier here (near STL) is 60/5 for … I think I paid about $120 for the one or two months I had it. Unbundled, with a 2 year contract discount rate. Currently on 25/2 IIRC for like $50 instead. While I would love a fat fiber pipe (what self respecting nerd wouldn't?) I rarely max out my 25 now, which is why I couldn't justify the cost of keeping my 60.

It's interesting looking back several years to see what people considered awesome speeds.

So I'm OK, I'm paying for 50M down / 3M up so I'm getting what it says on the tin - at least for IPv4 (IPv6 has to go via a tunnel over the 4 anyhow so it would not be right to rate it even if there was a test for it on the speedtest.net site)
