Moved ya over to Server Management. I haven't looked into it in awhile, but MudMagic used to run Redhat on at least one of their servers (I think it was mayhem).
Not sure a traditional MUD host is worth it anymore, given that you can get your own VM for the same or cheaper with more space/bandwidth and more flexibility. ServerBear is really helpful to find something cheap and close to you: http://serverbear.com/
If you're in the US, DigitalOcean's $5 plan gets you more than enough for a MUD.
