I am trying to find a good way to make AU's character creation more VIP friendly. I've found when trying to get my sister to play that tables and ASCII art are not fun at all. I want to set up a mode that will enable a feature set both during creation and enable or disable other features by default to make the PC's life simpler. Does anyone have any input for me on the adventure?

Here are some of the solutions I've found effective: Accessibility features?

If you want a separate mode during character creation, you should either ask the player when they connect (like you already do for colour), or use a different port number.

yeah I was planning on that portion (to avoid the ASCII image at the start too)

I've recently gone on something of a crusade to make my game more screen reader friendly. I have implemented everything in the thread that KaVir linked, except for MSP. Although, MSP is technically implemented; I just don't have a decent soundpack for it yet, so it is left disabled. If anyone has any further suggestions, feel free to post them. I am interested, too.
