Entrance to the Fields of the Dead~
   You stand at the begining of the Fields of the Dead, burial grounds for
Kortaal, and the srounding countryside. It continues further north and west. To
the south, a road leads into Kortaal and west to the Storm Horns.
   There is a small sign here.

Southwest corner of the Fields of the Dead~
   You stand in the southwest corner of the Fields. To the north, and east
the Fields continue. Here there are rows and rows of graves, many of them
hundreds of years old.

Western end of the Fields of the Dead~
   Now, you are very near the center of this graveyard. Headstones and burial
markers stretch as far as you can see. There is one grave there that looks
like it was recently dug up.

Eastern end of the Fields of the Dead~
  All around you, as far as you can see are burial markers and headstones. The
whole place has a evil, twisted feel to it. A few twisted and gnarled trees
grow here.

A large marble building, with a large, heavy looking door. Enscribe into one
of the marble blocks is the name 'Cormaeril.'

   This is the northeastern end of the graveyard. An old, decrepid looking 
house lies to the east.

Inside the Cormaeril Crypt~
   A very strange feeling overtakes you as you stand inside the crypt of one
of the founding familes of the Empire. It is much cooler inside than it was
outside, there are many finely carved statues here. At the northern end is
a small staircase leading downward into darkness.

they are buried here.

Chamber of the Dead~
   There are several caskets here, in the bottem of the crypt. It is very cold
and damp here. Moss and mold grows on the walls, and it doesn't smell very
pleasent. Set into the northern wall is a stairway winding upward.

The Caretaker's House~
   You are standing in the small, run down house of the Fields' caretaker. It
is a quaint home, for it's disrepair.
