#2100 Entrance to the caves~ You are standing inside a ancient series of tunnles and caves. There is alot of thick dust, and cobwebs everywhere. Along some of the walls you can see faded runes, which you cannot fully make out. ~ 21 acd 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2101 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2424 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2102 E runes rune walls wall~ The faded runes are almost impossible to see, let alone understand or identify. ~ S #2101 Begining of a long tunnel~ You stand at one end of a long tunnel, stretching west. It is dark and dusty here. To the south you can see sunlight and smell fresh air. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2100 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2104 S #2102 Narrow tunnel~ This narrow tunnel runs into a dead end to the south, and also west into a small cavern. You can feel a slight breeze blowing from the north. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2100 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2103 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2107 S #2103 Dead end~ The narrow tunnel ends here abruptly. There are a few more of the faint runes on the walls here. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2102 E rune runes wall walls~ The runes here are faint, but you can make most of them out. They seem familiar yet you cannot place them. ~ S #2104 Tunnel crossroads~ The long tunnel branches north here into what appears to be a cave, and also conintues west and east. The dust here is very thick and the walls very rough. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2105 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2101 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2106 S #2105 Before a large cave~ To the north you can hear the growls of some animal, apparently, in it's home. The cave, you can see, is quite large. There are some runes enscribed on the western wall. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2119 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2104 E rune runes wall western~ The runes on the wall are etched into the stone, in a very dark redish brown perhaps in the blood of some animal. They look familiar somehow... ~ S #2106 Before a rank cave~ You can see a cave to the west, and can smell something quite foul wafting from inside. It almost smells like rotting meat, but not quite. The tunnel runes east-west here. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2104 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2111 S #2107 A small alcove~ Standing in a small alcove, you can see exits in all directions. However, to the north the exit is blocked by a large, rune enscribe door. You can see faint tracks in the dust here. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ door north n~ 2 2100 2109 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2102 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2108 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2110 E track tracks dust~ They are very confusing. Unlike anything you've ever seen...you begin to wonder if some of the rumors you've heard about this place are true. ~ E rune runes door~ The runes are burned into the wood of the door. You can still smell a faint amount of burnt wood as you examine them. The rune structure is very complex and nearly impossible for you to understand. ~ S #2108 A sloping tunnel~ The tunnel heads south there, and slopes downward quite abit. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2107 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2116 S #2109 Aghazstamn's lab~ This large room is filled with all manner of equipment. There are bottle, beakers, burners, and flaming braziers here. There is also an extensive looking bookshelf along the north wall. Carved about three inches into the stone floor is some sort of summoning circle. ~ 21 d 0 0 0 1 D2 ~ door south s~ 2 2100 2107 E floor circle carved summoning~ The circle carved into the floor is edged by carved runes, and there appears to be dried blood in the center of it. ~ E book books bookshelf~ The bookshelf is lined with many, many books. You catch of few of the titles: The History of the Azagthoth, Aghazstamn's Summoning, and Binding the Servents of Evil. Scarry stuff! ~ E beaker beakers bottle bottles burner burners brazier braziers~ All of this equipment seems to be in use for something you do not understand. It's all bubbling, burping, and flaming. ~ S #2110 End of the tunnel~ You stand in another dead end tunnel. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2107 S #2111 A rank cave~ You cannot pinpoint from where, exactly, the stench is comming from, but it is enought to nearly make you sick. The cave extends around you in all directions. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2114 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2106 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2112 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2113 S #2112 The bedchamber of...something~ Here there is a large pile of straw, and a few tattered blankets covered in a strange slime. It really stinks. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2111 S #2113 More cave~ There are several strange tracks in this part of the cave, and the walls are covered with various, semi-dryed slimes. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2115 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2111 S #2114 In the cave~ More of the bizzare cave, there is some junk scattered around this part of the cave, a few rotting boards on the north wall, a chewed up blanket, and a few skulls. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ board boards north n~ 1 -1 2124 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2111 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2115 E skull skulls~ They look like humanoid skulls! ~ E blanket~ The chewed up blanket is covered in more of that semi-dry slime. ~ E board boards~ The boards are just setting against the wall, partly rotted and chewed on. ~ S #2115 Back of the cave~ This part of the cave looks unused and is very dusty. Perhaps a safe place to rest for abit? ~ 21 acd 0 0 0 1 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2114 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2113 S #2116 A steep, sloping tunnel~ The tunnel turns west here, and slopes even more...you can feel yourself decending into the earth. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2108 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2117 S #2117 At a hole~ There is a fair sized hole in the floor here, with a small metal ladder decending into the floor. ~ 21 cd 0 0 0 1 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2116 D5 ~ ~ 0 -1 2118 S #2118 The second level~ There is a ladder here, leading up through a hole in the floor. You have a very bad feeling about this place. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D4 ~ ~ 0 -1 2117 S #2119 In a large cave~ To the east you can hear something thrashing around, perhaps it's eating it's dinner. The cave itself is pretty dull, and dusty. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2121 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2120 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2105 S #2120 A bedchamber~ Something, obviously, enjoys it's meals here. There are half eaten carcasses littering the floor there, and various juices and fluids make the floor slick. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2122 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2119 S #2121 A small bedchamber~ Here is another bedchamber, perhaps for a smaller creature that shares the cave with the others. There is a tapestry on the west wall. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2122 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2119 D3 ~ tapestry west w~ 1 -1 2123 E tapestry~ It is quite worn, and stained, but you can make out what appears to be a Tsalari summoning some kind of demon. ~ S #2122 Cave corner~ The cave here is pretty barren looking, and there are a few rotting corpses of small animals here. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2120 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2121 S #2123 Tiny tunnel~ This tunnel is very narrow, and makes you very uncomfortable to travel in it. You can squeeze to the west. There is a tapestry on the eastern wall. ~ 21 ad 0 0 0 1 D1 ~ tapestry east e~ 1 -1 2121 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2124 E tapestry~ It is quite worn, and stained, but you can make out what appears to be a Tsalari summoning some kind of demon. ~ S #2124 Strange, smooth cavern~ This cavern looks like it does not belong here at all. It is very clean, and the torches on the walls provided light. The walls are very smooth cut stone, with runes set into them. You can feel a strong evil presence nearby. ~ 21 d 0 0 0 1 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 2125 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2123 D2 ~ board boards south s~ 1 -1 2114 S #2125 Before a strange altar~ This room is also light by torches on the walls, and contains only one object of interest. There is a huge stone altar along the north wall, it is covered in dust and cobwebs...and dried blood of sacrifices. ~ 21 d 0 0 0 1 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2127 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 2124 D3 ~ ~ 0 -1 2126 E altar~ The huge stone altar looks as if it hasn't been used in many, many years. It is covered with very intricate runes, both in detail, and the actual rune magic structure. There is a thick layer of dust and dried blood on it. ~ S #2126 Summoning chamber~ You stand in a very small, smoothed walled chamber. Set into the floor, almost taking up the entire floor, is s summoning circle inlayed with runes. ~ 21 d 0 0 0 1 D1 ~ ~ 0 -1 2125 S #2127 Guardian's chamber~ As you enter this room, you aren't quite sure that you are still in the same place as you were a minute ago. Things feel very...unreal here.
