This document SHOULD help you create mage spellbooks and a little on how
mage spells and skills work.

CHAPTER 1---------------------------------------------------------Basics

	This chapter is the basics on the How-to's of mageing.

Spells: 
	Polymorph: allows you to transform into certain animals [c 'poly'
	<type of animal>]

	Find Familiar: allows you to create a certain animal and command
	it around. [c 'find familiar' <type of animal>]

	Major Creation: allows you to create books, pages, pens, and
	runes. [c 'maj' book] [c 'maj' page] [c 'maj' pen] [c 'maj' rune
	<type of rune>]
	
	Insert Page: cast to insert a page into a book. [c 'ins' <page>
	<book>]

	Remove Page: cast to remove the page that your turned to in your
	book. [c 'remove page' <book>]

	Copy: use to copy a rune to a page, all pages must have a rune
	copied to it. [c 'copy' <rune> <page>]

Wizpowers: 

	Fcommand ( [ ): use this to command your familiar. [ [ <familiar>
	<command>]

	Chant: mages dont cast spells, they chant from their books [chant
	<book> <target>]

	 Unpolymorph: type to turn yourself back into a mage after casting
	polymorph

Tips:

	All pages must have a rune copied to it, the 'rune of mastery' for
	most spells. There must be a period ( . ) after every message
	line. For create object or mob spells, be sure to spell
	everything perfect or it won't work.

CHAPTER 2-----------------------------------------------Damage Spells
************************************************************************

Global:

	c 'maj' page
	c 'maj' rune mastery (if you already have one, don't cast this)
	c 'copy' mastery page
	write page title <title>  (ex. Deathray)
	write page line start.damage.spell
	write page line victim.target
	write page line global.target
	write page line min.damage: <minimum damage> (ex. 100)
	write page line max.damage: <maximum damage> (ex. 500)
	write page line message.1: <name of spell.> (ex. Deathray.)
	write page line message.2: <message to caster.> (ex. You send a giant Deathray at $N.)
	write page line message.3: <message to everyone else in the room> (ex. Chunk sends a Deathray at $N.)
	write page line next.page
	write page line end.spell

Congradulations, just write about four of that spell then skip the
next.page line, and insert into a book, your first spellbook!

Local:
Same as global spells, just drop the global.target line. (spell will only
work in the room you're in)

Area Affect:
Same as global, just drop the victim.target and the global.target.
add in:	
	write page line area.affect
	write page line no.players (won't touch any human player), or
	not.caster
	(will hurt anyone or thing in the room your in, but not the caster)

CHAPTER 3--------------------------------------Teleport and Summon

Teleport Mob or Player:

	start.action.spell
	victim.target
	global.target
	move
	message.1: You vanish in a puff of smoke.
	message.2: $n vanishes in a puff of smoke.
	message.3: $n appears in a puff of smoke.
	end.spell

Teleport Object:
Same as teleport mob or player, just substitute victim.target for
object.target.

Summon Mob or Player:

	start.action.spell
	victim.target
	global.target
	move
	reversed
	message.1: You vanish in a puff of smoke.
	message.2: $N vanishes in a puff of smoke.
	message.3: $N appears in a puff of smoke.
	end.spell

Summon Object:
Same as summon mob or player, just substitute victim.target for
object.target.

CHAPTER 4---------------------------Trains, Heals, and Boost Spells

Train:
This will lower a players hit, mana, and movement for training purposes.

Super-Train:

Super-Boost:
Same as Boost, just substitute bonus: 100 for bonus: 500.

Heal:

second.victim = second parameter is another victim
second.object = second parameter is another object
move = spell moves something
reversed = spell has reverse affect
min.damage: <num> = minimum damage spell does
max.damage: <num> = maximum damage spell does
mob: <short desc.> = short description of mob being created
object: <short desc.> = short description of object being created
apply: <str/ dex/ wis/ int/ con/ hit/ dam/ ac/ hp/ mana/ move/ save>

Damage Spells:
 
	message.1: damage type. (ex. fireball, lightning bolt, etc. )
	message.2: message to caster.
	message.3: message to everyone else in the room.

Affect Spells:

	message.1: message to caster.
	message.2: message to victim.
	message.3: message to everyone else.

Action Spells:

	message.1: message to caster.
	message.2: message to others.
	message.3: message to others at destination. (for move spells)
