Their m4 model ssd fail after 5000 hours like clockwork thanks to a logic error. I recently ran into this, and it was a real pain in the ass flashing it to the latest firmware version. They have no good mac option for flashing and I had to witch the drive to a pc I own to do it.
The disappointing part is that crucial hasn't sounded the alarm enough knowing it's a real problem. I just happened to see the footnote in their updates about it after guessing the problem I was experiencing was related to the SSD I've had for over a year.
I wouldn't be surprised if some folks here have one since the m4 has been a very, very popular ssd.
