Working on yet another comparison table and came up with the following fields:

Logging
Mapper
Multiplaying (connect several sessions at once that can interact)
Scrollback
Spell checking
Tab completion
Timers (Delays / Tickers)
Triggers (Aliases, Actions, Macros, etc.)
Redirection (the ability to run ssh, sftp and various other programs within the client.)
Regex (regex enabled triggers)

Any glaring omissions?

Scripting languages supported seems to be the only glaring omission.

You including categories for user-friendliness or aesthetics of the UI?

Support for various common protocols (like MXP, MCCP, MSP, etc.). Some people might care about the format in which games are stored (mainly open format or proprietary format).

Scripting languages, platforms, and protocols are already covered.

It's hard to rate user-friendliness and aesthetics, preferably I'd stick with yes/no options.

Would it be worth splitting the protocol support into "Yes", "No" and "Partial" (with the latter providing a hyperlink to the specifics)? I just found out that TinTin++ can play MSP-format sounds, even though it doesn't technically support the protocol - as its the second most widely used client on my mud, and I have a soundpack, that's pretty useful information to know.

Guess I could mention 'plugin' or 'script' - or would a MSP enabling script (telnet negotiations and all) be considered a plugin?
