However, the fact that someone who's worked with C (on and off, more off of late) for 25 years can make that mistake tells you something. The language wasn't meant to be dynamic, at all. Most people coding games are coding dynamic environments. Thus, it's not the best of fits.

Groveling? Of course not, you learn from your mistakes and then move on.

Blaming the language just because you don't properly understand it is not constructive.
