We have been around since July 2004 and offer a wide variety of opportunities for characters to explore the world. Our unique system of arc changes has allowed our players to visit Sanction and Kalaman already. Soon (as of August 2006), they will be visiting other cities on Krynn. We average over thirty players online at a time with a evening peak of between fourty and fifty. There's never a lack of things to do.

A MUSH set in 20th century wars. Currently we are working our way through history, we started in 1918, and we're now up to 1939, with the Winter War. But we will move on, covering hopefully the entirety of World War Two.

Currently, it is the dying days of 1939, and World War Two has begun. The strategy of appeasement, aimed at letting fascism deal with communism, has failed, with Hitler and Stalin refusing to play the democracy's game and instead choosing to make a non aggression treaty in the form of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. Poland has been overrun by Nazi Germany and Communist Russia, and France and the United Kingdom wait, fearful of the inevitable onslaught.

But while Western Europe waits, Russia is on the move. The Pact included a secret clause, in which Hitler agreed to let independent minded Finland and the Baltic States become a part of the Soviet sphere. Accordingly, as 1939 draws to a close, Stalin's forces make their move.

The Soviet Union is an order of magnitude more powerful than tiny Finland, but what happens in the winter of 1939-40 captures the imagination of the world as the Finns, to the surprise of Stalin, prove their willingness and readiness to resist the might of the Red Army and defend their liberty in a modern day version of David and Goliath.

"If you were to name the greatest nation in the world, would it be the richest; would it be the one whose possessions are the most wide-flung; would it be the most populous or that which boasted of the most destructive guns and the most powerful army? Perhaps it would be that nation which paid its debts, which, courageous as the Greeks at Thermopylae, fights a barbarian horde, which faces annihilation rather than compromise its liberty - whose men today die on the battlefield and whose women and babies starve and freeze behind the lines. If this is the nation you would seek, there stands Finland."

The story of the Winter War meets MUSHdom!
Uncountable years in the future, citizens of the Galactic Human Empire set out on a mission to glorify their Empress Titania by expanding her domain out into the vast realms of uncharted space. Many ships departed in all directions; some were lost to accidents, some passed beyond knowledge or memory, and some succeeded at their goal.
One of these ships found the world of Voltumnus, beautiful yet harsh, populated with exotic and deadly beasts who wielded powers over their surroundings that science could not explain. Their every moment a struggle for survival, the beleaguered colonists dedicated their lives to ekeing out an existence on their new homeworld. Yet as they exerted their influence upon the land, so it too exerted its influence upon them. Humans began to be born with the same powers as the native beasts, powers that could be called nothing but magic. Commanding the elements or even life itself, these 'Celestians' all felt an ineffable connection to Pomona, Voltumnus's glowing moon.
Seven hundred years later, the colonists survive in the divided city of Titania. Technology and magic cannot coexist, the powers of one interfering with the powers of the other. The Galactic Empire now only a distant memory, the people desperately vie for as much influence as they can grasp without upsetting the delicate balance of power that keeps them alive. Technological experts rule in the east half of the city, known as Stocklin; the Celestians dominate the west, known as Petakova.
An uneasy peace has settled over Titania, but the tensions between the Stocklin and Petakova ways of life cannot be forgotten. For fifteen years, the beasts have not attacked, and the youngest citizens of the city cannot even remember their terror- but the oldest have not forgotten. Both Stocklin and Petakova are ruled by unlikely leaders, and political tensions have soared to monumental heights without an external enemy to unite the people.
Titania's destiny is waiting to be decided - by you. Be a Petakovan Celestian, commanding magical forces to do your bidding; a Stocklin scientist possessed of fierce creativity, designing new technology to lift your people to greater heights; a member of Voltumnus' Lovers, elite scouting and reconnaissance personnel who dare the wilderness's dangers; a career politician of Stocklin or Petakova, dedicating your life to the pursuit of power.
All these roles and more are open for players of Elan Vital, a unique blend of fantasy and sci-fi entering open beta now. EV has been developed by a team of staffers with experience on multiple games, all working in tandem to create a world where anything and everything can happen- and the players are the ones who decide the course of the action.

Wintershade MUCK is a furry MUCK with a heavy focus on realistic roleplaying. It is set in a fictional medieval world.

Once upon a time, there was a caring monarch amongst the ruling class who had the best interests of the people in his kingdom at heart.

These are not those times.

Nearly a decade ago, many members of the noble houses had grown tired of their king's interference in how they ran their estates. Though he did not require from them the exorbitant taxes of his forefathers, King Aidan responded promptly to pleas from the peasant classes based on their inability to pay the taxes their own lord required. While this made him very popular among the lower classes, it also made him some very strong enemies.

It did not surprise anyone when Aidan was assassinated, but the results could not have surprised more people. The assassin and the nobles alike were surprised when the loyalty of the guards extended past the time when they no longer had an employer to put food on their tables. While many of the guards and soldiers did abandon the royal estate to be snatched up by the next highest bidder, many stayed to defend the remnants of the royal family.

During the months of warfare that followed, tension grew between the noble families that had orchestrated the initial attack. By the time the last remaining members and staff of the royal house had been killed or driven into hiding, there could be no hope of reconciliation between the members of the houses, and therefore no peace. What had only a year previous been a relatively content and prosperous land became ravaged by civil war. When noble houses vying for the top position within the kingdom stretched their fighters too thin, farmers and cobblers eager to not have their families singled out for the next attack were conscripted into the fighting force, resulting in shortages of all goods, and even now, many years later, there is no end in sight.

Liosliath Mush Overview
A world where everyone's story matters, where everyone can contribute as hero or villain and where everyone can weave their stories into the fabric of Liosliath. Pokemon Adventures is a roleplay focused Pokemon MUSH centered around the canon 'verse of the series. Membership is open to both trainers and pokeplayers alike and with the game currently in a playtest mode, we are open to characters of all kinds and encourage people to join, get involved, invite their friends, and help build [PAM] up and help write our storyline through roleplaying. :)

To keep things from ending up confusing, the grid is limited to a subset of Kanto from Pallet up to Cerulian with a limit of pokemon to Kanto and Johto era species for both trainers and pokeplayers. As activity improves, these will be fleshed out to accomodate.

Additional newbie liaisons will be a must in the coming weeks/months as we transition out of playtest mode and plot suggestions are welcome from all sides and avenues for such will be provided in-game.

Blood of Dragons is set in the low-magic, medieval-inspired fantasy world of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire (also the basis for the HBO show Game of Thrones). Knowledge of the books is not required for players with some MU*ing experience, though it is definitely helpful.

The game takes place around 140 years prior to the start of the first book, A Game of Thrones, allowing players to explore a less defined period in the history of Westeros while still experiencing how past events in the books may have played out. The roleplay is focused on the political and social interactions at the courts in King's Landing and Sunspear, with players taking up characters from various noble households. Players have a choice between CGing a character themselves or taking up previously played, fully pre-generated role. Choose the latter option and you can often be ready to roleplay within minutes.

Blood of Dragons is focused on offering good-quality roleplay in a rich, immersive setting with a strong sense of history and continuity and we strive to be approachable and helpful. If you find yourself interested in the game, the following links may provide some good starting points:

There is also a log archive, a chronicle of important IC events, the family trees for the various houses and much more to be found on the website, and of course the Admin (Nymeria & Balerion) are also happy to help out with any questions.
The year is 2659. War between the Terran Confederation and the felinoid aliens known as the Kilrathi has raged for twenty years, with no end in sight. Seeking to break the stalemate, the Kilrathi have launched a surprise offensive through the edge of Terran-controlled space in Gemini Sector. A tenacious counteroffensive has pushed back the first wave of the Kilrathi assault, but with a massive Kilrathi force in front and a morass of corruption behind, it may only be a matter of time until the Terran lines break

Based on the 'Wing Commander' series of games, Wing Commander: Gemini Sector offers space opera fun in a bureaucracy-light atmosphere. The game is set aboard a single Terran Confederation carrier, the TCS Majestic, so roleplay is never far away. At times, events will open up that allow the player to roleplay elsewhere in the universe such as planets, resorts, installations, and other ships. Knowledge of the series is not required.

Chargen is quick and alts are allowed. You can create a character who is a pilot, a technician, a marine, or a naval officer/enlisted man. Combat is coded and easy to use. Player death does not occur without consent. Main plot is staff driven, but there are plenty of opportunities for player-based events. Most social events are player-driven. Staff and other players are always willing to help new players get in. The rules are light, just be respectful to other players out of character and you are good. The player-base is very friendly and mature.

Overall, the guiding principle is 'We are all here to have fun'.
Welcome to Narnia, the charming mythological realm as
created by C.S. Lewis in the 7-book series,
_The Chronicles of Narnia_.
It is now Narnian Year 1012, and the four Pevensies,
secure on their thrones at Cair Paravel, have commemorated
the 12th anniversary of the fall of the White Witch. Narnia
has entered a golden age of prosperity stretching from
Beaversdam and the Lamppost in the west to Beruna in the
south and beyond.

Not all is sunshine in these halcyon days, however. There
have been disturbing reports from the north, where those
who escaped the Witch's fall have been biding their time
and waiting for the opportune moment. Several patrols have
returned with disturbing rumors of traces of giant
incursions. Peace has its pitfalls too, and many Narnians
have forgotten that even in the heat of summer, winter is
never far behind.

Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, charged with keeping their
people safe and happy, have a great deal to do, between
mediating between various talking beasts and receiving the
ambassadors from Calormene. They have come seeking new
alliances with their Narnian neighbors, but is that the sum
total of their ambition?
Chicago 1924

Here at ChicagoMUSH, we want to offer a refreshing alternative to fantasy-medieval, sci-fi, or nWoD mushes that are a dime a dozen on the net. Here, you get to play a relatively modern-era character, living in downtown Chicago in the mid-1920?s. This era is marked by the prevalence of organized crime and governmental corruption, made popular by the likes of Al Scarface Capone and Eliot Ness.

While you wont find either of these characters on ChicagoMUSH, we invite you to create your own fame as a gangster, shopkeeper, tycoon, or G-man. We have worked hard to create an authentic historical environment, building the mush to resemble downtown Chicago within the Loop.
Paradigm Shift is an experimental ColdMUD. It exists primarily as a social hangout for people interested in Cold but there is also an original sci-fi game in the works to showcase the potential of the codebase (although this is very much a work in progress).

The game is open to anyone with an interest in Cold, sci-fi gaming, or roleplaying in general. Progbits are available upon request.
Euphoria is an Adult MUSH with an open supernatural theme. Although it is not a strictly BDSM MU*, BDSM is allowed and for this reason, it is an 18+ game. The MU* features an RPG room for playing DnD, V:TM, V:TR, and any other such game that players desire. We are a work in progress, any suggestions that you may have to improve your experience at euphoria, please let an admin know and we will be happy to add it if at all possible. We look foreward to seeing you there! ? :)
