but it improves your chances of survival.  Also type <body> periodically to see body damage while in battle - loss of a limb when hp are low can be deadly.

Health points, stamina points and magic points can be renewed several 
ways.  Mend, heal and cure renew hp.  Boost renews sp.  All three go up 
if you eat or drink.  Lars pub is s, w... Ale is (relatively) cheap and 
you can sell the bottles.  There is a restaurant 2n, 2e, s.  Fish can 
also be had for free. There is a fishing pole 3e, 3n, 4e, ne, 2e, d.  
You can fish at that spot, or on the docks, 3s, sw, s.

Equipment can be bought and sold at the shops.  Horace (treasure goods, 
keys, bottles, etc.) is 2e, n.  Shakima (treasure goods) is 7w, nw, 2w, 8n, e.  Bertha (weapons) is 5e 2ne 5e 8se 2e n.  Bohemindral (weapons) is 7w, nw, 2w, 9n, e  Emma (weapons) is 4n, 2e, ne, 2n, 2nw.  Kant (armour) is 5n, nw, w, nw, 3n, 3w, 2n, w, n.  Aethelfrith (armour) is 5n, nw, w, nw, n, 3e, n, e, 7n, w, nw, w.  Type list to see what they have available to sell, but dont believe the prices. Type <cost <item>> for the real price.  EQUIPMENT IS NOT SAVED WHEN YOU QUIT, so go to a shop and sell all before you leave.  Money is saved, or you can deposit it in the bank (2s, w, n).

Clerics main fighting skills are blunt and knife.  Rumor has it that max knife is 4.5 * level, and max blunt is 3.5 * level, but Ive never come close to maxing them, so Im not sure about these numbers. 

Our strongest magic is in healing (mend, boost, cure, etc), faith (dispell, turn, peace, etc), and magic defense (shield, buffer). Type <help spells> or <help <spellname>> for more info.

1. Strengthen paralyze and rot.

2. Fix cure so it works on limbs as well as hp.

3. New spells: 
	bless <armour or weapon> to temporarily increase AC or WC.
	slow <monster> to decrease the number of hits/round a monster 
		gets... sort of a lesser paralyze, that would slow the 
		monster instead of completely freezing it.
	resurrect <player> to allow clerics to resurrect dead players, 
		preferably for a small reduction in losses for <player> and 
		good xp for the cleric.

4. A no reset room in the cleric hall where armor and weapons could be 
dropped for other clerics.

5. A newbie sign-in book, that would give newbie clerics some cash out 
of the donation box.  The newbies should have to be above level one to 
sign in, so people don't start a cleric character just to get the cash, 
then suicide. Obviously, they are only allowed to sign in once.

6. Give xp for damage done to monsters through spells, just like xp is 
give for damage done with a weapon.

7. GIve xp for monsters killed with turn spell.
