Desert Entrance~
The grassy path slowly dies out, becoming nothing more then sand. To the
north is a large crevice. Splitting a giant wall of stone that seems to be
the only buffer keeping the desert from expanding any further to the south.
The heat continues to rise as you move closer to the deserts entrance. Even
from here you can see a large mountian far to the north, shimmering and
wavering in the heat waves cast off by sands.

The crevice~
You stand in a giant rend in the southern wall that protects the world
from the expanding desert. Just beyond the wall, and the coolness of its
shade is the blazing hot desert. Far to the north you can see a mountain,
dancing in the shimmering heat waves.

Beyond the crevice~
Your passage north is suddenly blocked by a sand pit to the north,
occasionally a geyser of sand spurts high into the sky. It's probably a
good idea to follow the stone wall to the east, deeper into the desert, or
to the west, towards what looks to be a cliff.

Ravine~
The sand suddenly stops as you near the edge of a cliff, it looks to be a
LOOOONG way down to the bottom. You can continue on to the north, along the
edge, which looks to slowly go down to meet the floor. Also you can hear
the sound of water flowing far down below you.

Southern edge~
You are now east of the sinkhole, the desert continues on seemingly
endlessly in all directions but south. Above the sun mercilessly beats down
upon the desert, and any foolish enough to try and traverse it. This
section of the wall seems to be home to a colony of giant scorpions.
Probably should be careful.

Ravine's Cliff~
The ravine continues to be far too deep to go down to the west, and the
sound of water continues to be quietly heard, mostly hidden by the sound of
the now howling desert winds. To the north the cliff continues to slowly
dip downwards.

Ravine road~
This section of the ravine's cliff is now actually starts going below the
desert. There is now a sheer cliff face to the east, and to the west is the
ravine. This section is remarkably well kept, and seems to be rather well
trodden and used, almost as if it's a road of some kind.

Ravine road~
The path continues downward, at this point you can no longer even see the
tip of the mountain over the cliff to the east, and to the west the sounds
of water begins to grow much louder. In fact to the north and below, you

The path down into the ravine ends here with a flat platform of dark
stone. To the west and north of it can be heard and seen the river at the

the base the mountain, as you crane your neck back to look up it, you
realize that it is very steep. One would have to be a skilled climber, or

Soaring up into the sky to the west of you is the mountain, it's sheer
cliff face on this side is such that you could only fly to ascend it, to the
north is an abrupt chasm, leading down to a river far below, across it is
more desert, stretching as far as the eye can see. To the east, near the
wall is a what looks to be a village.

Nearing the village~
The west is is the mountain, and to the east is the village, although
from hear you can see no activity there, but you can't tell for certain from

Village entrance~
You now stand before the entrance to the village, you still do not see a
single person in sight. There are several white dome like buildings along
to road to the north, at the end of the road is a larger white domed
building. There is one thing that you can easily tell from here, there was
a battle, as there are no undamaged buildings, in fact a couple have
collapsed to nothing more then rubble.

Eastern wall~
The path to the east is blocked by the massive rock wall. To the north
it falls off into the chasm that splits the desert in two. Far to the west
you can see the mountain standing far above everything else. Directly to
the west is the entrance to the village.

Main street~
The street is nothing more then a beaten path, going in between the
various buildings. To the east and west are both white domed buildings,
they still seem to be standing and intact enough to search. Farther north
is more buildings.

Abandoned house~
This house is in a state of horrible disrepair, there is a huge hole in
the ceiling to the west, through it you can see the mountain. Strewn about
the place are various possessions, mostly destroyed and half buried in
sands. Of what is left, none of it is of any use. It almost seems as if
someone left in a hurry.

Abandoned store~
At one time this was a store, but now it is not much more then ruins.
This building is remarkablly undamaged compared to some of the others,
however there is also nothing of interest. The shelves and cabinets are all
empty, and there isn't even anything strewn about. Whoever was last here,
they cleaned this place out quite thoroughly. At least there is a nice
thick layer of sand in here, blown in by the winds from outside.

Main street~
The building to the east has collapsed in upon itself, making it nothing
more then a pile of rubble. The house to the west however is still
standing. Within it you can see eyes peering out at you, hidden in the
darkness. To the north is the larger of the house, you can hear voices
coming from it.

Refugees house~
This is the one house that has people within it, well, not people but
children. They look at you with eyes wide with curiosity and fear, not
quite knowing what to make of you. As you try to approach them they quickly
scramble out of site into thier hiding places, which afterwards you are at a
lose to find. It's as if thier hiding places have disappeared with thier
occupants.

Before the large house~
You now stand before the doors of the largest building in the village.
From within you can hear the sounds of growling and mumbling, occasionally a
pair of briefly glowing eyes peer at you from the depths of the darkness.
The sun above continues to beat down from above, so it's possible those eyes
are just mirages.

Entryway~
You now stand in the entrance of the villages largest building. The
rooms to the east and west are too full with rubble to be entered, leaving
the room to the north, and possibly and explination of what happened here.
Strewn among the rubble are the bodies of many short, humanoids with tails
and horns.

Back room~
The only light in this room is coming from the way you came. As you move
farther into the room you hear and feel the crunching of bones beneath your
feet, quickly opening a window to let more light pour in, you realize that
this room is piled with what was once the people of this village, or at
least thier bones. Among them are the bones that belong to the things that
attacked you in the entry way. You suddenly come to the realization of what
transpired here. Demons appeared and destroyed the town. To the north is a
door that leads to be backyard of the house.

Backyard~
Stepping out throught he back door, you find yourself in the backyard of
the house. There is a stone well that is filled most of the way with sand.
Surrounding the well is a patch of grass that seems to be rather well
nourished. Along the right side of the backyard are the remains of what was
once a garden. North of here is a bridge that leads across the chasm.

Bridge~
The bridge is made of rope and wooden planks, suspended across the chasm,
which looks to be deeper here the farther to the west. Across the bridge is
more desert, expanding in all directions, seemingly to the ends of the
earth. To the north and west you can see an oasis, but even more disturbing
are the red snake like creatures flying about to there.

Otherside~
After crossing the bridge, you find yourself facing another hole in the
ground, but unlike the scorpion wholes, this one is MUCH larger. You still
can see the oasis to the north and west. East of you is the eastern wall of
stone, which continues on to the north to meet another, much higher wall.

Desert~
To the east of you, the rock wall continues northward, to the west and
north is more of the blasted desert, and the temperature is only rising the
deeper into it that you go. The sun above beats down upon the sands
mercilessly. To the north is the oasis, and you can still see the flying
red snake creatures.

Desert~
You can again see the oasis to the north, wavering and dancing in the
heat of the desert. The sun continues to burn the landscape with his
scorching heat, and the wind has begin to pick up, making it hard to see
anything. You also discover another giant hole in the ground.

Desert~
The passage westward has just been suddenly halted but very unsafe and
unsteady sand pits, which geyser frequently. You could go around but, you'd
have a long walk to the north before you can find a path across it seems.
You can still see the flying snake things through the wind, it's nearly a
sand storm now.

Northern limits~
You have come to the point where you can continue west through the
sinkholes, by way of a thin strip of land inbetween them. To the east
stretches a high wall of rock, eventually coming in contact with the eastern
wall. At the base of the wall is another giant hole.

Northern limits~
You now stand directly north of the oasis, to the west are the sinkholes,
to the east lies the eastern wall. Soaring up above you lies a giant wall
that looks to be made from hundreds of rocks stuck together. You can easily
climb up it.

North eastern edge~
The northern and eastern walls tower above you, providing plenty of cool
shade to escape from the heat of the sun with. The walls stretch to the
west and south from here. To the southwest lies an oasis, with a small town
about it. You can also see red snakelike beings flying in the air above the
desert.

Climbing the rock wall~
You are now about half-way up the rock wall, the desert stretches out
beneath you to the south, up above you can hear the sounds of splashing
water. The heat from the sun also has become more bearable, and the wind
has died down, making this an almost pleasant climb.

Entrance to Pteradactly Haven.~
You stand at the top of the cliff, unrolling before you is an enormous
lake with many pteradactyls are playing and enjoying the water. Beyond the
lake is a jungle like forest, that is filled with many kinds of plants, and
more pteradactyls, doing a variety of activities, both on the beach and
deeper in the forest. Also the air feels much cooler here then it did down
below in the desert.

Path through the sinkholes~
You are now passing through a thin strip of land that has a field of sink
holes that geyser sand high up into the air on both sides, one bad step
could end up getting you dragged into the sinkholes. To the west is a
cliff, and to the east is a safer portion of the desert

Another cliff~
You have just passed out of the sink hole area of the desert and have
managed to discover a cliff, which continues on to the south. Far below is
the rest of the desert.

End of the cliff~
You have reached the end of the cliff, far down below and stretching to
the horizon is a desert mesa, and from here you can see more of those red,
snakelike creatures flying about above it, as well as other creatures.
There are strong winds buffeting the cliff, as well as yourself from the
west. It may not be a good idea to still be on the cliff edge if the winds
suddenly shift direction.

Entrance to Oasis town~
You now stand at the entrance to Oasis Town. This town is lively with
people, who are enjoying the seemingly endless spring water that the oasis
provides. There is also plenty of green grass, extending all the way to
even where you are. In the center of the oasis you notice a man meditating
upon a small grassy island with a lone palm tree.
