#7000 Entrance to the sewers of Kortaal~ You can think of at least three other places you'd rather be right now other than the smelly, dank sewers of Kortaal. However looing around you can see large, stone tunnels leading in all directions. Violators will be attacked, by order of Emperor Naga. <Also, this is the newbie area!> ~ S #7001 The muddy sewer~ You are standing a muddy, slimey sewer. This is not the kind of place for a picnic. The muddy sewer stretches further into the south, west, and north. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 You can smell fresh air. ~ ~ 0 -1 7000 D2 You see the muddy sewer continuing into the darkness to the south. ~ ~ 0 -1 7002 D3 You see a small offshoot. ~ ~ 0 -1 7007 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7002 A smelly T-intersection~ The muddy sewer stretches into the dark to the south. It looks as if no person has ever sat his foot here before. It's too muddy for that anyway. The sewer leads north, south and east from here. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 The muddy sewer stretches into the dark to the north. ~ ~ 0 -1 7001 D1 East. The muddy sewer leads into a bend that goes south. ~ ~ 0 -1 7004 D2 To the south the sewer contines. ~ ~ 0 -1 7003 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7003 A slick tunnel~ The tunnel runs north-south here, and is nearly totally green with the growth of mold and slime. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D0 North. This part of the sewer looks very disused. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D1 East. The sewer dranches south. ~ ~ 0 -1 7005 D3 A north-south tunnel. ~ ~ 0 -1 7002 S #7005 Rocky bend~ A small, rocky tunnel runs south here. The dust and slime is thicker here. You wonder when the last time something living was here... ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D2 South. The rock tunnel runs south. ~ ~ 0 -1 7006 D3 West. The start of the old rock tunnels. ~ ~ 0 -1 7004 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7006 An old door~ On the east wall of the rough tunnel you see an old looking door. It is closed, and there is a small sign on the doorknob. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D0 The pipe leads into a bend that goes south. Closed by order of King Chelnar the IV. ~ S #7007 A small offshoot~ This isn't your idea of a place to stay too long. You're in up to your knees in something that resembles mud, but you're not quite sure. The bend in which you stand leads east and north. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D0 You see more wet, slimey tunnels. ~ ~ 0 -1 7008 D1 The pipe leads into a intersection that goes south and north. The floor here is still covered in mud. ~ ~ 0 -1 7001 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7008 A muddy intersection~ You have both your feet safely stuck in mud. It isn't the mud that's wrong it's the smell, the sounds, the total darkness that surrounds you. Everything here is so depressing. The pipe leads on with a trail of thick mud to the west, east and south. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 4 D1 East. The pipe goes into a bend with a load of mud all the way up the walls. You can smell fresh air. ~ ~ 0 -1 7000 D2 South. This way like a place for the annual mud festival, although the stench wouldn't allow any happiness at all. The pipe leads into a bend that leads north. ~ ~ 0 -1 7007 D3 West. There's less mud in that direction. *smile*. Your light doesn't cover enough space for you to see much more than that it leads into some sort of junction. ~ ~ 0 -1 7013 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7009 Old tunnel~ The rough tunnel turns west here and also runs north. You think you can make out a few faint footprints. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 3 D0 North. The tunnel continues. ~ ~ 0 -1 7006 D3 A few yards ahead - away from this junction - there is a pit leading down, but the smell from there...>PHEWW<. ~ ~ 0 -1 7010 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7010 A bend in sewer pipe~ You are in a bend in the sewer pipe. A strong smell seeps in from the west. The sewer goes west and east. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 2 D1 East. You are staring into a rocky junction with exits to the north. ~ ~ 0 -1 7009 D3 West. The Pipe leads into utter darkness that way. ~ ~ 0 -1 7011 S #7011 The muddy sewer pipe~ You have entered a kind of tube intersection that leads north, west and east. Your legs are covered in mud up to the knees. REAL yucky! ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D0 That way is lost in darkness, though you sense less mud in that direction, perhaps even a complete end to this sludge that surrounds you. ~ ~ 0 -1 7003 D1 East. There's less mud in that direction, or that's your impression. ~ ~ 0 -1 7010 D3 West. The mud reaches that way too, all the way up the walls. ~ ~ 0 -1 7045 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7012 Old room, with a rocky staircase~ Standing in an old, stone, room you can see thick dust and cobwebs. There is a staircase carved out of rough stone leading down into the darkness. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D1 Ease. You can see a north-south tunnel. ~ door~ 2 -1 7006 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7013 A dank T-intersection~ You are in a dark and slimy t-intersection. To the north you think you can hear something. Far to the east the tunnel extends past the line of sight. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D0 North. Sludge and sediment fills this corridor of the sewer that leads into a bend going west. ~ ~ 0 -1 7019 D1 East. More slime and sewers. ~ ~ 0 -1 7008 D3 West. All you can see is more mud! Although the pipe goes into a bend leading south. ~ ~ 0 -1 7014 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ E sediment~ It's NOT the kind of matter that would concern you too much, normally, but as you are in the middle of it, it just might become your main concern. REAL YUCKY! ~ S #7014 Muddy sewer~ You stand in a bend of the pipe system of the sewer with mud up to your thighs. Contemplating a higher level of existence here would be utterly inappropriate, as the smell would keep any intelligent creature from even thinking of anything but getting away from this foul end of the WORLD. The bend goes south. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D1 East. Filled with mud, that place looks like an impassable intersection with pipes leading north and east. ~ ~ 0 -1 7013 D2 South. There's less mud that way, maybe you're on your way out of this foul place. ~ ~ 0 -1 7015 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7015 The old well~ You are standing by an old and worn well from before this century. The sewer leads to the north from here and to the south into darkness. Metal bars implanted in the side of the well lead down as a ladder, until the meet with a metal plate. ~ 70 acd 0 0 0 3 D0 North. You see, because of the utter darkness that surround you, absolutely nothing. Your light isn't of much use for that kind of distance. ~ ~ 0 -1 7014 D2 To the south it is dark, but warmer. You think you can hear squeeking. ~ ~ 0 -1 7016 E plate metal~ A large metal plate has been installed to seal the well, you'd rather not guess at why it was sealed. ~ S #7016 The ordinary bend~ You are in the middle of a bend in the pipe system of the sewer system, WHAT a place!!! The pipe leads to the south and the north. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 North. What a quiet place you've found there. It's an intersection that has pipeways going north. ~ ~ 0 -1 7015 D2 South. You see nothing at all in that direction it's too dark anyway. ~ ~ 0 -1 7017 S #7017 Rat Lair~ You are in a large rat nest. You can see many, many rats of all sized running around here. Some are the size of large dogs! ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 North. You see a bend. ~ ~ 0 -1 7016 D1 East. There's a dead end. ~ ~ 0 -1 7018 S #7018 More Rat Lair~ This room is an even bigger mess of scattered junk, straw and cloth than the previous. Most of the rats here are larger than most dogs you've seen! ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D3 There's a bend to the west leading north. ~ ~ 0 -1 7017 S #7019 A cleaner room~ This room looks out of place from the rest of the sewer, it is alot cleaner and has some broken furniture. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 2 D0 You can see more clean tunnels. ~ ~ 0 -1 7020 D2 Back to the dirty sewers. ~ ~ 0 -1 7013 E furniture~ You can see chairs and tables in various states of destruction. ~ S #7020 A clean room~ This room is quite clean, and even has a few worn tapestries hanging on the east wall. You can see a little light to the north, and an offshoot to the west. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 2 D0 You can see some light. ~ ~ 0 -1 7022 D2 You see a clean room. ~ ~ 0 -1 7019 D3 You can see a broken bed. ~ ~ 0 -1 7021 E tapestries tapestry~ They depict the comming of Dhalmass, the Warrior King, and other of the great Elder kings from the past of the Kingdom of Toran. ~ S #7021 A small bedroom~ There is a small, broken bed thrown in one corner. There is also some various broken furniture here. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D1 There's an ordinary junction in the pipe system to the east ~ ~ 0 -1 7020 E bed broken~ The bed is decrepid and broken down. It doesn't look to enviting. ~ S #7022 A small guard room~ Here you can see equipment and furniture for the small contingent of Purple Dragons that patrol the sewers. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D0 You can see a small practice room. ~ ~ 0 -1 7024 D1 You can see a small sleeping room. ~ ~ 0 -1 7023 D2 You see a clean room. ~ ~ 0 -1 7020 S #7023 A small bedroom~ Here you see a small bedchamber. For the guards to rest before or after a patrol. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D3 You see a clean stone room. ~ ~ 0 -1 7022 S #7024 The sewer~ You are standing in a tiny practice room. There are several practice dummies here. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D2 To the south there's another intersection with pipes going south and east. ~ ~ 0 -1 7022 S #7025 Another intersection~ You have never seen anything so BORING...This is an intersection with pipes leading south and east. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D1 East. You see nothing of interest in that direction, just another intersection. This one leads east and south. ~ ~ 0 -1 7026 D2 Another intersection lies to the south. Tunnels run in all directions. ~ ~ 0 -1 7000 S #7026 A junction~ This one seems interesting, a big difference from all the other junctions. It seems cleaner than the rest of them. The pipes lead to the south and west. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 0 D2 To the south there's ANOTHER junction leading west and east. ~ ~ 0 -1 7027 D3 To the west you see a load of mud and sediment in the sewer. That should be an intersection there but you're not quite sure. ~ ~ 0 -1 7025 E mud~ It's dark as tar and looks like something out of a toilet, on top of THAT the smell is absolutely OVERWHELMING. ~ S #7027 The sewer junction~ You stand in a junction of sewer pipes leading north, east and west. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 To the north a pipe runs off to the west. ~ ~ 0 -1 7026 D1 To the east you can see the pipe continuing. ~ ~ 0 -1 7028 D3 To the west you can see many tunnels. ~ ~ 0 -1 7000 S #7028 A long passage~ You stand in a long, dark passage which reeks of something you'd rather not think about. It runs east-west. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D1 You can see the pipe branch north. ~ ~ 0 -1 7029 D3 The passage runs far to the west... ~ ~ 0 -1 7027 S #7029 The Triple Junction~ You stand in a large sewer pipe. It runs west and north here. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 To the north you can see a cave-like alcove. ~ ~ 0 -1 7030 D3 To the west you can just make out another junction similar to the one you are standing in. ~ ~ 0 -1 7028 S #7030 A rocky alcove~ You are standing in an old, sealed section of the sewers. The sewer ends abruptly and rocky cavern walls start. ~ 70 acd 0 0 0 1 D0 To the north you see a rock wall. ~ secret north n~ 4 7001 7031 D2 To the south there's a huge junction with pipes leading east and west. ~ ~ 0 -1 7029 S #7031 Old Cave~ You stand in an old cave which looks unused. There are thick dust and cobwebs. You notice faint tracks in the dust...they look like they could belong to a patrol...or somemthing worse. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D0 More of the old caves. ~ ~ 0 -1 7033 D2 You see a rock wall. ~ secret south s~ 3 7001 7030 D3 You see a dead end cave. ~ ~ 0 -1 7032 S #7032 A dead end~ You stand in a dead end of a cave. It looks as if some creature has made it's home here. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D1 You see a cave. ~ ~ 0 -1 7031 S #7033 A branch tunnel~ The old caves run south and west from here. The acoustics of the room amplify strange sounds from the caves, but you cannot determine where they originate. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D2 You see a cave. ~ ~ 0 -1 7031 D3 You can see a lair. ~ ~ 0 -1 7034 S #7034 The Lair of the Goblin~ You have stumbled upon the hidden lair of a few goblins living under the city of Kortaal. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 2 D0 To the north you see more cave. ~ ~ 0 -1 7035 D1 To the east you see a tunnel that turns south. ~ ~ 0 -1 7033 S #7035 A cave~ You stand in what appears to be an extention of the goblin lair to the south. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 2 D0 You see an east-west running passage. ~ ~ 0 -1 7036 D2 You see the lair of a few disgusting goblins. ~ ~ 0 -1 7034 S #7036 A junction running east-west~ You stand in a natural section of east-west running tunnel. Also, there is a passage leading south. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 5 D1 A dead end. ~ ~ 0 -1 7037 D2 Back towards a goblin lair. ~ ~ 0 -1 7035 D3 To the west you see more tunnels. ~ ~ 0 -1 1600 S #7037 Another dead end~ This looks like a possible storage area for the goblins that live to the south. ~ 70 ad 0 0 0 1 D3 You can see a natural junction. ~ ~ 0 -1 7036 S #7045 The Sewer Room~ You are standing in a large room with chairs set in the walls. You have the feeling of being watched. The room is lit by five torches, also set into the walls. To the east there is a doorway leading out to the sewers.
