air.  Buildings and people alike lie smashed and burned all around.  This
place looks like a Warzone.

The Gardener's Room~
At one time, this room served as the quarters for the simple gardner who
tended the garden to the south.  Now, like everything, it has been gutted. 
You think you see what may be human remains in the corner of the room, but
turn away in disgust before you can be sure.

All manner of gardening implements are here, still arranged in neat rows
by fnction.  Some empty racks can be seen where sharp tools were 'borrowed'
for combat.  Most of the other tools with weapon potential have rusted or
decayed from lack of care and use.

Human Warbase-Entrance to castle~
You've reached the Human stronghold.  In their fights with the orcs, the
humans staged their operations from this huge castle.  Due to the wartime
conditions, the place is heavily guarded.  Be careful--these humans have
been fighting so long, they might not recognize if you're friend or foe.

This path looks like it was used as a defensive strongpoint at one time. 
On either side are tall, stoutly built earthworks and sharpened spears for
reppelling enemy attack.  You feel pretty safe here, unlike in most of the

Eeew what a nasty smell!  Almost worse than that burnt body smell. 
There's a huge hole in the ground here; you hear some strange sounds coming
from it...  Grunts and growls and other unnerrving sounds.  Oh, its probably
nothing but the wind.  Be brave, you wimp.  Nothing down there can hurt you.
No, you'll die so quick you won't feel any pain at all!  <G>

Oh my...  This is disgusting.  There is a huge pyre here, and strewn atop
it are bodies, lots of bodies.  Looks like some human, some orc, but you
can't tell cause they're all burned to hell.  This places smells like death.
