How bout quest shops that sell random eq for quest points

each piece will be combinations of matierals like...

A Diamond Bladed Sword would have better stats then   say

a Copper plated Dagger..

but of course the better pieces would have a lesser chance of

loading in the shop... We could have a couple different shop keeper

This would give the mud a cool atmosphere instead of people ending

up with the same sets of boring armour

Maybe we could sell unused hilts/slabs/gems OR maybe....

we could make combinations of slabs/gems/hilts and pay for

shopkeepers to forge stuff for Us.

like forge Weapon ivory mithril topaz = An Ivory studded

Mirthril Sword with a topaz gem/ivory hilt affects

but different combos make different eq

shrug maybe its a complicated stupid idea and i'm rambling

If someone becomes maxed out, or there's no one to cap

to increase their statcap, what do they do with all the

exp they surmount?  Some ideas follow.

 

EXP Tokens -- To give away or stash away until you can

use them yourself.

 

Primal -- For every 1000 primal trained, add 100-250

damcap, or hitroll and damroll.

 

Slabs -- Put a shop somewhere, that people can buy slabs

for exp.  Mithril = 2 billion, Adamantite = 1.5 billion,

Steel = 500 million, etc.

 

EXP to QP -- Exchange EXP for QP basically, with an

exchange rate of 10 million exp for 25 qp, or vice versa,

for QP to EXP at the same costs.

 

Extra Immunities -- Only 10 immunities can be trained, but

if mortals could gain the remaining ones at a cost of 1

billion exp each.

 

Decap Message -- For 2 billion exp, let mortals assign their

own Decap Message.

 

Entry/Exit Message -- Just like the Decap Message, same cost,

for enter exit messages.  Plain and simple.

 

These are just some ideas on what could be done with exp when

you have nothing to train it to.  I'd like to hear some

feedback from mortals on what they think about these ideas.

May the forces of evil become lost and confused on the way to

your house.

well xp'ing as a cyber demon is really...crappy...especially once you

get your battlestation form since its a huge pain to have to

switch out of it just to gas a few mobs. might be nice if they had a

area/room affect skill that attacked every mob for your damcap but

could only be used when in battlestation form.

Would be pretty sweet :-) make it something like a grenade or

a lazer or something cool and nifty like that, lol.

the quest only accepts one item of the type it wants.. IE if the object

the quester wants is a black potion, you have to get the correct black potion

not just any black potion, this is a pain when there are 15 mobs all with

the same potion, and they can repop before you kill them all.. I think the

quest objects should have a quest flag on them like the mobs do, or the questor

should accept all of that type of item.

Could the lag on AFK possibly be removed?  It makes no

sense to have lag worse than berserk on a skill that is

used to post that you're away.  It just makes you a target

if you go afk, which you can only do in a saferoom, that

eventually The Gods are tired of granting you refuge. and

I've noticed that once a player surpasses newb status,

the exp income takes a plunge.  Therefore i suggest that Double

exp be brought up to 300 pecent for every player when turned on

I also think that super training, double bones, and double exp should be 

accessible to players, allowing them to turn these stats on

With a drawback of course.

If you impliment this idea i think that these stats should cost 1k to 4k in 

price and affect the whole mud

They should also have a timer on them so after a period of time the stats 

turn off.

First of all this is just retarded, my aura hits for NOTHING

i have almost all spell levels maxed and it hits for a big 500 damage most

of the time, USELESS SHIT, thats not gonna get me anywhere, i was wondering

if it could be like set so that it depends on your spell levels to do damage 

because hitting for 500 and having all your attacks parried plus getting hit for

1.5k autoattack just isnt right

holyblast

-(attack)-cost 10k fps cost 15k mana does 10k +1k for every 1k mana the user has

Holyflair

-(blindness)- cost 7k fps cost 5k mana blinds

Godblade

-(attack)-cost 15k fps cost 10k mana does 15k depending on users red magic level

Fatherform

-(form)- cost 100k fps cost 10k 10k move and is 2x better than priestform

Bishopform

-(form)- cost 200k fps cost 20k mana 20k move 3x better than priestform

I think it would be a good idea if the imm's worked a little harder to

balance out the base classes and the new classes with the upgrade classes.

Base classes need to be balanced out with damcap's raised a little bit, as

well as some of the new classes that have been put in.  Also with the new

classes i can't quite say what it is with their hitting/parry/dodge since im

not a coder, but there is definantly something wrong with them i think.

Just my thoughts and my what i think would make the classes more balanced out.

Give ravage for ghouls at least a 2-round lag,

it's currently 3-4 rounds, uses 3-4 attacks, and

uses 2000 moves to use. Shapeshifters get breath in hydra

form for 2 round lag and up to 5 attacks of around

5k damage, which is their damcap as a Hydra.

So uh please give ghouls less lag, or make it

cost fewer moves.

Either take ghouls out, take scrolls of death out, or

replace the desanct spell in scrolls of death with

something else, because I thought ghouls were made to

only have desanctuary...

Their skill, sdeath, starts combat, can't be casted

during combat, and uses 3 rounds of lag until another

command can be executed. Not gonna start on their other

skills that take that much lag, but at least fix this

problem with desanct scrolls having 1 round lag, and

being able to be used in combat, because a shapeshifter,

deathknight, angel, tanarri, or other high-damcap class

can be too deadly with these, and cause 30k damage/round

EASY. Thanks for looking at this...?

As with the example of Reffus on the night of March 17th,

I think spamcap should be removed. Sure this is my second

annoying note, but eh something should be done fast.

I asked Telomir before writing this, and he said a timer

would be the best changes done to spamcap. But last night

when me Reffus and I think Zantiel or Fiji were talking to

Pizzaman, he said a spamcap timer would be a bad idea.

So please decide, and heh get around to fixing it soon...

cause I am greedy and I am nearing Tier2...
