A Huge Field of Rubble~
   This entire area was once a huge plain dotted with numerous rock pillars.  
However, due to some sort of terrible event, it has been reduced to a seemingly
endless field of huge pieces of shattered rock and dirt.  Here and there shiny
bits of metal gleam in the sunlight, seeming to be out of place in this
desolate area.

A Depression in the Rubble~
   The huge pieces of shattered rock dip down closer to the hidden ground at
this point, as if the area you are currently standing in was the epicenter of
some sort of powerful blast.  The pieces of shiny metal that are quite rare in
the surrounding areas are common here.  Two huge slabs of rock resting on the
ground have been pushed slightly apart, revealing a large dark opening in the
ground.

The End of the Tunnel~
   &16The tunnel takes a sharp downward turn as the area is filled with a
strange &15silver&16 glow at this point.  Pieces of loose rock bounce off of
the walls of the tunnel and fall below you, exiting the tunnel and entering a
large open chamber, eventually landing far, far below.  The air is stale and
smells of rock and stagnant water.  &00

A Narrow Steel Catwalk~
   Your boots clunk noisily on this narrow catwalk perched precariously in one
corner of a huge limestone chamber.  A tiny shaft of light coming from an
equally small hole in the ceiling above you provides dim illumination to this
eerie scene.  Far below, shouts and gunshots can be heard from what appears to
be the ruins of some old city buried by time.  It seems that the only way off
of this catwalk is a climb upwards or a brief (but painful) fall downwards.

On Top of a Ruined Building~
   A ruined building carved entirely from limestone provides you with even
footing as you gaze out at the ruins of an ancient city.  Despite its age, the
place seems to be very much alive- sounds of rioting and gunshots echo
throughout the impossibly huge limestone chamber in which the city is situated.
Pieces of paper blow across the rooftop and latch onto a steel catwalk far
above your head.

On Top of a Ruined Building~
   The narrow rooftop of this limestone building is coated in cracks, dust, and
papers which blow softly in the eerie breeze that has somehow reached the huge
underground limestone chamber in which the city is situated.  A narrow
staircase leads downward to the chaotic and ancient streets below.

A Ruined Town Square~
   Fires from piles of papers scattered around this area illuminate the ruins
of a town square.  &09Statues&00 of important figures in the town's history
have been toppled over and defaced by rioters, and bullet holes riddle the
sides of buildings surrounding the area.  Potholes in the cobblestone ground
seem to have been created by something other than a conventional weapon.

Though most of the statues are defaced beyond recognition, one of the is
remarkably pristine even though it has been toppled over.  It appears to be a
statue of a tall, muscular human wearing a ten gallon hat and some impressive
looking armor.  The inscription under the statue has been spray painted over,
but you can make out the following:

O.r .ero .i.n.u .u..y.go.en

This strange warrior seems also to be holding a long bladed sword
in his right hand. Upon closer inspection, the blade is inscribed
with zeroes and ones.

A Dead End~
   The cobblestone streets sprouting off from the town square to the north come
to an abrupt halt here.  Instead, a large square patch of bare ground
surrounded by limestone buildings remains in place of the road.  Piles of
papers and trashcans burn brightly, sending off smoke into the grimy and dank
air.  Rioters mill around here in organized chaos- people stand on top of cars
and trucks shouting slogans through a bullhorn.

In Front of a Ruined Lab~
   Fire leaps from papers scattered over the ground in front of the entrance to
a large, partially destroyed lab.  This appears to have once been the focal
point of the riots raging through this ancient underground city, but the
rioters have since moved on.  The sounds of settling metal and rock fill the
area, and it seems like the lab will come down at any second now.

A Ruined Lab~
   The huge floor of this lab was once sterile and filled with tanks of medical
liquids, the same ones that now cover the ground and cause every step you take
to create an eerie splashing echo.  Fallen steel girders, out of place in this
limestone building, make movement all the more difficult.  Wires from
diagonsitic equipment create &12sparks&00 that fly in arcs across the walls.

A Back Room~
   Once the office of a prominent scientist, this small room has nearly been
reduced to rubble by rioters and explosives.  Books have been torn to bits and
thrown on the damp carpeting, the desk has been overturned, and stains on the
far wall look like they are probably from someone's blood.  Interestingly,
there is a single book left on one of the large bookshelves that hasn't been
touched.

Most of the book is filled with scientific gibberish,
but a few parts you can actually read. Among them:

CLONES: The underground city of Yesin has been equipped
with a labratory which can create clones of the more
prominent members of its society. However, some of the
clones may become mentally unstable. They are usually
annihilated or sent to the sewers to live out their short
lives in isolation.

Recent uprisings of clones have caused us to send out
our second creation- andriods capable of incredible
destruction and who cannot feel pain. According to...

A Futuristic Shop~
   This sterile shop seems to be more of a lab than a place where people come
to buy and sell things.  Very few people are in here, and those that are sit in
chairs by the entrance reading magazines and looking very frightened.  A man in
a lab coat stands next to a chair with a huge machine attached to it, waiting
for his next customer.  A &09sign&00 on the side of the machine attracts your
attention.

In Front of the Sewer Entrance~
   The dark alley opens into a tiny square clearing fenced in on all sides by
huge limestone buildings.  A small dark passage to the north catches your eye-
it seems as if the steel doors pushed back from it were put in place to guard
the city from something more than the sewer rats crawling around this place.  
A passage leading from the doorway slopes steeply downward into the underworld
below the underground limestone passage.

A Crystal-Coated Pipe~

to be the dead end of a section of pipe.  Crude offerings made by the twisted

sticks.  Most of the crystal is fastened hard to the rock, and the bits that

A Destroyed Building~
   Constructed from the walls of the sewer, this building was once the main
part of the settlement that extends all around it now.  Some sort of fight has

A Small Destroyed Lab~
   Tables have been overturned and thrown into the steel walls of this
partially destroyed lab.  Shattered glass shimmers in the dim light given off
by a single working lightbulb hanging from the ceiling, giving the illusion
that thousands of crystals are on the ground.  Interestingly, a single table
hasn't been overturned.  Two items are on it- a chart and a memo.  A huge
bolted-down steel door, strangely untouched, is to the north.

A Pristine Part of the Lab~
   This part of the lab seems to have been strangely unaffected by whatever- or
whoever- destroyed the rest of the place.  A thrumming tank full of a greenish
medical liquid sits in the middle of the sterile floor.  It seems that someone
has been here recently, as the place is very tidy.

An Incenerator~
   Great amounts of arcid black smoke rise from a huge machine in the center of
this area and waft through grates to the city above.  Trash is being burned at
a snail's pace here to provide those living in the sewers with just enough

   This dome-shaped room seems very out of place in the dank sewers surrounding
it.  Various punching bags and weight sets are scattered around the room, at

thick layer of dust on the floor, but that is all.

the pond, creating a peaceful ambiance.

own rooms which split off from the main sleeping area here.

The Airlock- Entrance to Faye's Testing Grounds~
   This tiny room is situated under the underground bunker in the Dojo of Pie.
It has been wiped totally clean, and is quite sterile.  A bench sits in the
middle of the room, and a pressure- sealed door leads to the east.  Peering
through the window, you can see a green field in which strange beings walk

Various note-taking supplies and pitchers of water sit on the tables.

   This tiny steel-plated room is filled to the brim with weapons racks equally
filled with all variety of deadly weapons.  Everything from alien rays to
staves is represented in the storage racks.  In times of crisis, the racks can
be thrown open and weapons can be grabbed from them quite easily.
