Crystalline Tunnel~
Natural crystals glimmer from the walls and ceiling of this tunnel,
glittering in shades from deep purple to pristine white. A small stream

bank, as glimmering reflections play across the surface. The tunnel

Crystalline Tunnel~
Brilliant glimmerings of light flicker along the walls of the passage as
light reflects off of the natural crystal formations of this tunnel. A
small stream trickles next to the ledge that you are on, running down the
tunnels to the south and east. The sounds of falling water filter lightly
through the crisp air and a light spray of mist cools your face. The tunnel
opens to caverns to the north and west, while the crystalline tunnel runs to
the east

Bright Chamber~
You are temporarily blinded as you enter this chamber, and as your eyes
slowly grow used to the light, you marvel at the spectacle before you.
Great crystals in the walls seem to perfectly bend and redirect the light,
magnifying it so that the cavern seems to glow. A small stream runs from a
spring in the corner of the chamber, flowing through the cavern and down a
passage to the south. Small delicate crystals resembling flowers have
formed along the edge of the spring. The only exit is to the south.

The rock beneath your feet seems to faintly shake with the tremendous force,

been formed naturally, but the remnants of what was once a large gate tell
you that someone lives or once dwelled here.

Top of the Black Waterfall~
A large waterfall cascades over the ledge here and thunders to the depths
of a large cavern below. A walkway has been created and formed by some
unknown craftsman around the ledge of the pit, down into which the water
plunges. The water itself is black , and it only takes a look at the walls
in this cavern to discern why. Ash and soot forms a thick layer over the
walls and floors, staining the water as it flows past. A large gate of some
sort lies to the east while passages lead south and west.

The Warm Tunnel~
The air in this tunnel is unusually warm and dry, and you cannot spot a
single bit of moisture on the walls. It is quite apparent by the angles and
smoothness of the rock that this passage is artificial in nature, probably
built by some ancient craftsmen long ago. The dull rumble of a waterfall
can be heard down the passage to the west.

The air is dry and warm, and there seems to be a slight breeze from the

that the heat originates from farther down the passage to the east.

You find yourself in a truly enormous cavern filled with coins, bits of

once beautiful murals on the walls and you notice that some of the metal in
the room has been melted. The ceiling above you is lost in darkness and you
can only barely make out the far wall. You feel yourself begin to sweat in
the heat of this room and the faint smell of sulfur stings your nose. A

smaller passage leads to the south.

Along the Base of a Cliff~
A large cliff face rises out of the ground before you, stretching up to
the sky. All around, a dense and dark forest of ancient trees grows. To
the south, a path choked with leaves leads under the canopy into the gloom.
Upon close inspection of the cliff face, you notice some niches that would
be ideal for climbing. From the west, you can hear the sounds of running
water, just beyond a small clearing in the trees.

Bottom of the Large Shaft~
You are at the bottom of a wide shaft leading upwards through the rock.
The wind rushes through some unseen entrance above you, whistling and
periodically rising to a keening wail as it swirls through the shaft. The
sides of the shaft are smooth, with no outcrops or handholds. A simple rope
ladder is the only way up the shaft. You see the openning of a simple
tunnel to the south.

Smoothed Tunnel~
This tunnel, like most of the rest of this complex, was formed by years
of rushing water. The inhabitants of these caves have diverted the water at
places, creating this dry tunnel through the rock. The walls have been
smoothed and simple torches line the passage to provide light. The floor
has been chipped a little to prevent someone from slipping. A large shaft
leading upwards can be seen to the north and the passage continues to the
east.

The thick moisture from the air of the tunnel to the north seems to have
collected into a small pond in this cave. Small fish and amphibians swim in
the shallow water, darting from rock to rock. Mud from the boots of the
many inhabitants of this network of caves dirties the water. Doors lie to
your east and west, and you manage to detect a faint oily smell from the

evidence of the tunnel's origins. A heavy moisture hangs in the air, and a
faint odour fills the tunnel. The smell seems to be stronger down the
passage to the east. In addition, another passage leads west.

Crude Stables~
Someone is using this small cave as a makeshift stable. Wooden
partitions are haphazardly arranged around the cave and straw is strewn
across the ground. The smell of manure is magnified by the lack of air
movement, making the room almost unbearable to be in. A trough with food
and water stands against one wall, but the contents don't look like they've
been changed for ages. You may leave west, or investigate the tunnel to the
south which has an unbelievable stench wafting from it.

Middle of Large Shaft~
You emerge onto a shaft in the middle of a large shaft deep within the
cliff. A brisk wind whistles through the shaft, creating an eerie wailing
sound and a small waterfall tumbles down the far wall. The sides of the
shaft are smooth, but simple rope ladders allow you to go up or down. In
addition, a passage leads to the south.

You find yourself at the top of a large shaft that descends into the
darkness below. A small waterfall plunges through a hole in the ceiling,
cascading into the rumbling depths below. Wooden walkways cross over the
shaft, allowing access to passages at different sides of the shaft. A
simple rope ladder allows you to go downwards, and paths lead to the north,
east, and south.

Crystal Lined Passage~
The running water that formed this tunnel has left large deposits of
crystals along the walls. Bending the light from the few torches in the
wall, the crystals create a rainbow of colors across the tunnel. The water
that once ran through this tunnel has long since been diverted and dust
floats in the air, catching beams of light. To the west you see a large
chamber and the crystal tunnel continues to the east.

You have arrived at a bend in the crystal encrusted tunnel, exits leading
to the north and west. Large chunks of crystals protrude from the walls,
catching the rays of light from the rest of the tunnel. In places, it looks
like someone has hacked at some of the formations with an axe, breaking off
large chunks. Where and why the people took the crystals is unknown.

You are presented with a vision of subterannean beauty as you enter this
crystal encrusted cave. A light mist of water vapor hangs in the room,
catching the light of the torches around you and creating a pleothora of

a small pool on the cave floor, filling the room with the soft murmur of

making the cave look as if encrusted by radiant gemstones. A makeshift
wooden stairway leads to a ledge high above the cave floor, and tunnels lead
to the west and south.

The walls here glisten with moisture and the air is heavy and clammy.
Small drops of water run down the walls, feeding small streams that run

Your ears begin to pound with the sheer force of sound and your face is
