The City Gates~
You stand before the gates to the walled city of Tarsh. Several Warrior
stand on the battlements, watching you warily, their tarns resting on a
nearby tower. The Gates are open, and travellers are free to come and go as
they please, as long as they abide by the laws of Tarsh. Beyond the gates
can be seen the bustling streets of this great city.

Within the city~
Passing through the great gates, you enter a large square, from which
many roads lead of into the depths of the city. Ahead of you the great
central avenue leads through the centre of the city, to the great temple
that overlooks this whole city.

The Central Road~
You make your way along the central road towards the great temple,
passing the many large houses and shops along the way. It is obvious to you
that this is where the richer denizens of this city reside, as close to the
temple as possible, for many of the houses and shops seem almost luxurious
in nature, and quite a few of the owners seem to have tamed tarns resting on
their roofs.

The Central Road~
As you get closer to the great temple, the shops give way entirely to
purely residential buildings, of such lavishness that they seem to vie with
the great temple itself for sheer beauty and extravagence. Many slaves can
be seen through the windows, cleaning the house and seeing to the needs of
their masters.

Within the Great Temple~
The Gilded entryway to the great temple seems extravagent to the extreme,
and this does not change as you move further into the temple, as the walls
are covered in finely painted murals, dotted with precious gems and metals.
Within the temple is the wealth of many nations, made into stunning statues
and murals.

An Ante Chamber~
A small reception room waits to the right of the temple hall, where
visitors can wait for a priest to meet them, before they are taken deeper
into the temple for whatever reason they came here. This room is pleasently
furnished, though certainly not as lavishly as the rest of the temple,
almost as if it is designed to put the visitors in their place.

The Altar~
Beyond the central hall, past the chairs and the statues, an altar sits
upon a raised dias. Made from some strange grey stone, the altar is almost
plain in comparison to the rest of the temple, although the items placed
upon it are as lavish as anything else in the temple. Gem studded cloths
and gold chalice's.

The Dome Room~
At the top of the spiral staircase, you find yourself in a vast domed
room, where great pictures adorn the walls, a vast map of the lands of Gor,
with the mountain of the Priest Kings at it's centre. Sounds echo strangely
in this room, and travel all around the edge. You can hear the whispered
conversations of the priests standing by the wall opposite you, as if they
were stood beside you, and the sound of your clothes rustling echoes around
the room before returning to you magnified greatly.

The Temple Balcony~
Stepping out of the Dome room, you are surprised to find yourself on a
large balcony, overlooking the city. The temple courtyard is easily viewed
from this great height, as is most of the city, as you look out to the great
walls and into the plains beyond. Several priests gather here to discuss
matters of importance, and to view the city with impunity.

A Large House~
This large house is obviously the home of a wealthy man, for it is
decorated with great murals and tapestries, the solid wooden chairs are
lined with the softest of materials, and are a pleasure to sit upon. Slaves

visitors, bringing wine and fruit at their behest.

A poor family lives in this one room hovel, 6 people living together in

The eastern road makes the way deeply into the merchants distract, with
stalls and shops all around, almost as if the road itself was one great
marketplace. Most of the buildings along here are storehouses, for all of
the selling is done from open stalls, under the open sky and the heat of the
sun. Vendors sell everything from fruit juice to baby tarns
