Within is nothing but darkness, but without pausing to think of the dangers, you swing in, and are surprised to find yourself on a level floor. Looking back, you can see that the jagged cave entrance only covers the real entrance to a vast cavern ~ 0 4 5 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 25105 D4 ~ ~ 0 -1 25103 S #25105 The vast cavern~ As your eyes adjust to the darkness, you slowly begin to take in the scope of this huge cavern. It stands nearly 100 metres tall, and close to 200 metres across. In the distance can be heard the faint sound of something scraping against stone. ~ 0 4 5 D0 ~ ~ 0 -1 25106 D2 ~ ~ 0 -1 25104 S #25106 The tunnel~ Beyond the vast cave lies a long tunnel, which stretches almost half a mile into the cliff face. Up above, the top of the cliff is lost in clouds, but even from here you can hear the beat of vast wings, as they power through the air above. ~ 0 0 5 D4 ~ ~ 0 -1 25109 D5 ~ ~ 0 -1 25101 S #25109 The entrance to the Aerie~ Climbing up the cliff face, you start to encounter large entrances into the cliff face, all leading into the same vast cavern. Looking all around, you can see ledges, upon which are giant nests, hundreds of them. Flying in and out of the cave is a veritable army of giant eagles. Within the nest are several giant eggs. ~ 0 0 5 D5 ~ ~ 0 -1 25110 S #25112 Nearing the cliff top~ You continue to climb for what seems like hours, but eventually you feel like you are almost to the top, you have climbed through clouds, and encountered the other creatures that live on this cliff. You feel so tired that even drawing breath is painful. SLowly you recover, and look around. Almost instantly you realise this is a bad place to rest, as all around you are dragons, of all sizes and colours.
