To the north is the Temple of the Avatar. The temple has long been lost
in the hands of time. The temple is made from limestone and the temple walls
extend to the east and west. A forest path leads southeast into the unknown.
The gates leading into the temple are made from reinforce steel, but appear
to be unlocked.

This is the outer courtyard of the ancient temple. The temple was built
long ago and has been ravaged by time. The outer courtyard extends to the
east and west. To the north is the inner cloister and on the other side of
the inner cloister is the hallway which leads to the altar. The temple seems
to be vacant of life.

The outer courtyard extends to the east and the west. The temple seems to
be empty of all living life. The temple was made long ago by a civilization
forgotten and now destroyed, although there are numerous relics and ruins
left from the civilizations of the past. Ergon was once the greatest of
continents, but after the great war which destroyed most signs of
civilization on the continent, Ergon was knocked into a dark age.

with green vegetation. The plants within the temple are exotic and rare,
definitely not from this area. The temple, however, seems to be deserted of
living life, at least, there is no life visible within the temple. From the
beneches within the inner cloister, it is appearant that once monks use to
live within the temple.

cloister was once used by the monks to meditate and relax but now the temple

which are said to be hidden within the old temple.

spectral creatures still guard the temple.

This is where the massive altar dedicated to Azkhanerash is located.
Candles lead up towards the altar, and it appears, since the candles are
still burning, that the candles burn with an eternal flame which can never
go out. The altar is dedicated to the ancient avatar who took from this
realm the four relics of power. The located of the four relics were kept
secret, although some say that through his temple, the portals into the
other dimensions can be found. However, it is still possible for one to
worship Azkhanerash here.

This is the chamber of the high priestess who once tended to the temple.
The chamber is now empty and has been empty for millennia, since the monks
abandoned the temple. In the center of the chamber there is a large oval red
rug. Also in the chamber is a single white bed, where the priestess would
sleep.

The fountain of water seems to distort time. This place is strange and
there does not appear to be away out of here. It appears that this room or
area is below or inside the bubbling fountain of water. One is able to sense
that the water in this fountain is not the ordinary fresh water and perhaps,
the water has other magical properties.
