The inside of the temple is even worse than the outside. Horrific
paintings and hideous life-like statues are everywhere. To the left

Many dark robes and books are scattered throughout the room. Several
figures are crowded around a massive granite statue chanting in an
unfamilliar dark language.

floor. Somehow, the tree is still alive, and surrounded by bright green
grass. The tree looks very old, but sturdy.

Bright brass candle holders line the walls. They are filled with
sweet-smelling candles, shedding light and a comforting warmth down the

This room is as bare as it was when this place was built, the only
difference is a few small blood-stains on the floor. You wonder what this
room is for. Some obscure writing has been scrawled on the south wall.

Shrine of Derokath~
Candles of all different sizes are lit throughout the room, surrounding a
life-size statue of Darokath. Low benches are seated infront of the statue,
obviously for worship. A large plaque is set at the base of the statue.

Derokath is also known as the Demon Lord, he encourages death,
destruction, and the devouring of living prey. Common legend has it that he
seeks others of his kind to loose upon the innocients of Calim's Cradle.
Derokath is drawn to all manners of destruction, more than any of the other
Gods. Derokath seems to love destruction so much that it might actually
eliminate the world and all his worshippers in it. Derokath is the entity of
personal destructive power.

Armory~
The walls are lined with heavy petrified racks full of the biggest
assortment of weapons, armor, and shields you have ever seen. Every piece of
equiptment seems to be forged of great mithril and polished to the point you
can see your reflection perfectly.

Pantry~
The dark oak shelves holding all sorts of food are rotting and warped. It
doesn't seem they will last very long. The floor is covered with dirt, and
in the northeast corner you can faintly see something beneath the dirt.

Underneath the pantry, is a cozy little wine cellar. Massive spider webs
cover all four walls, and the room is full of dust. There is a trapdoor with
a ladder attached.

Not much light penetrates through this musty tunnel, but there is enough
light to tell that it hasn't been used. There are several inches of dust on
the ground with no tracks in them other than you're own footprints. Judging
by the poor quality of the tunnel, it must have been created by orcs.

Large pieces of mutilated statues are collected in a corner. There is
some faded orcish writing above the statues. A mural on the wall makes it
obvious whoever occupied this room is anti-derokath.

Strange Room~
This room sticks out like a sore thumb. While all the other rooms are
dusty and plain, the ornate black stone walls here look no more than a day
old. Not a speck of dust can be seen. Some glowing runes are etched into the
wall.

Guard Post~
This post serves to guard the precious, most treasured observatory that
was erected in the name of Derokath. Although the mysterious hooded figures
are loathed by the dark orcs that infest the basement, money is what the

Observatory~
From atop this Observatory, one would think he could see the whole world.
Massive rotating lenses are perched upon large tripod bases, obviously for
charting astronomy. This tower atop the temple appears to be enveloped by
the star-studded night sky.

Sleeping Quarters~
This room is the sleeping quarters for the dark orc guards. The beds are
covered with bodily fluid stains and come with a horrid stench. To the
average human this seems repulsive, but is almost second nature to the orcs
and sure beats the cold floor.
