The water-filled tunnel ends abruptly and widens into a large cave to the
east.  The rocky floor of the cavern is damp and slick with moss, and
footing treacherous.  A shadow rises up from the floor and approaches you at
a rapid pace.  Chuckling, you dismiss it as your imagination.

The light coming from the ballroom to the east fades slowly away as you
enter this small room.  The room is perfectly cylindrical in shape, and you
notice a number of paintings placed haphazardly on the walls, ceiling and
floor.  The back wall has been blasted away by a powerful force, beyond it
looms a black void of nothingness.

Floating in the Chasm~
Grateful for your ability to fly, you are able to ascend safely down the
rocky chasm.  A cold breeze gusts upwards from below, blowing dirty and
spiderwebs off the rocky walls into your face and mouth.  You claw at the
grit in your eyes, and succeed in banging your head against a rocky outcrop.
You absentmindedly wonder what kind of mind it takes to create a sanctuary
of refuge in such a ridiculous place as this.

You are in the southern portion of the temple hall in Midgaard.  The
temple has been constructed from giant marble blocks, eternal in appearance.
Many of the walls are covered by highly detailed wall paintings picturing
ancient gods, giants, and peasants.  Large steps lead down through the grand
temple gate, descending the huge mound upon which the temple is built and
ending on the temple square below.  A smaller set of marble steps off to the
left leads {WUP{x through a doorway into the entrance to the {CTRAINING ACADEMY{x.
To the east lies an open door leading to the {YQuest{x master of Midgaard.

This room looks like it takes up the entire inside of the mountain.  The
cieling is so high you almost can not see it.  The room reachs a width of
nearly one hundred and fifty men across All around the room you see
mountains of gold coins, silver coins and jewels some extremly rare, some
magical and some are uncut and un polished.  You can see armor from many
lands along with weapons beside the armor, inside the armor you can see the
skeletons of those that used it previously.  In the center of the room on
top of the largest pile of treasure you can barely make out an enormous
shadowy form.  As you slowly approach the large pile of treasure, the
shadowy figure lifts its head and roars so loud that large rocks rain down
upon your nearly smashing you to death.  You notice the shadowy figure is
The Dragon Lord, oldest of the dragon race and the largest.  He lunges
toward you and.................

Down the Side Street~
The side street continues, the narrow road bustling with activity, making
it difficult for some to thread their way through the crowd.  A small
alleyway branches off to the north, a dirt path leading up to the back

Samurai guild of Midgaard, where some of the best warriors of the city go to
train in an ancient and deadly style of fighting.

Down the Side Street~
A fair-sized crowd moves down the side street, heading in and out of
shops, their voices blending to create a steady din.  The White Star Inn
stands to the north, two stories high, it's red tile roof glittering as
light strikes it.  The Grunting Boar Inn can be seen at the street's end to
the east, while to the west glimpses can be seen of the temple square
through the crowd.

Before the White Star Inn~
Wide stone steps lead up to the entrance of the White Star Inn, a tall
brick building several stories tall, with a roof of glittering red tiles the
likes of which cannot be seen anywhere else in the city.  Windows allow a
glimpse into the cozy, warm-looking interior of the inn, where locals and
travelers alike seem to be enjoying each other's company.  The street
continues westward, where it meets the Temple Square, while to the east lies
the Grunting Boar Inn.
