The Gates of Galdamar~
The Gates of Galdamar loom impressively to the east, composed entirely of
wrought iron.  The hinges to either side are large enough to dwarf most
buildings, and a huge latch, perpetually unlocked, hangs in the center.  A
gravel road leads into the city to the west.

Gate Road~
The road here is composed of a coarse gravel, which is piled up to form a
path through the city.  Grass lines the sides of the road, and the gravel
appears to be raked regularly to keep it smooth.  To the east are the city
gates, and the city square is to the west.  A small sign hangs over a
building to the north, and an open field lies to the south.

Gate Road~
A well worn path leads to the north, where the Temple of Freyhana sands. 
The temple from the outside is a massive white stone structure, built with
the kind of detail that takes thousands of hands to complete.  To the south,
smoke rises from a small building.

Galdamar City Square~
A fountain marks the Galdamar City Square, with benches aligned in a
circle around it.  A second ring of trees circles the benches, and the
street runs to both the east and west of Galdamar City Square.  To the
north, a lane leads off into the residential wards of the city.  A neatly
trimmed hedge marks the entrance to the Healer's Home to the south.

Gate Road~
The gravel composing the pathway through Gladamar thins here, and the
grass along the edge of the road has become more patchy.  A small shop is to
the south, with an unreadable sign swaying in the breeze.  Green vines climb
the walls of the shop.  To the east is City Square, and farther west is the
Western Gate, the last line of defense of Galdemar from the rugged
northlands.

Gate Road~
Grass grows through the gravel road here, an obvious sign that the
traffic this area sees is much less than the rest of the city.  Only the
hardiest of adventurers travel past here, and only when needs are very
pressing.  Fences line both sides of the road here, in front of unmarked
buildings with no entrances.

Gate Road~
The road here is still unkempt, due to the lack of traffic.  Guardposts
line both the north and south of the road here.  The posts are heavily
constructed, and obviously designed to withstand a siege, as they meet the
city wall to the west.

Before the western gates~
The western gates of Galdamar stand over a hundred feet high here.  To
the east a gravel road leads into town.  The gates are rusty from disuse,
and remain locked at all times unless there is a pressing need, as
protection from the wilds of the northland.

Outside the Western Gates of Galdamar~
The gates of Galdamar stand over a hundred feet high to the east here,
built on the enormous scale of giants.  The Northern Trail wanders off into
the mountains to the northwest here.  On both sides of the gate,
fortifications can be seen.  Galdamar is well defended.

Galdamar Cafe~
The cafe is decorated with rich hardwoods with iron trimmings.  The floor
is swept clean to a lighter shade of wood, almost a blonde colour isntead of
the deep red of the walls and furniture.  Tables of gigantic proportion fill
the room, which is well lit.  A bar stands at the end.

Memory Park~
Stone pathways wind through grassy fields in Memory Park.  Trees grow in
orderly lines tall above the cool ground.  The stone pathways converge in
the center of the park.

Temple of Freyhana~
Beautiful sculptures and tapestries line the wall of this alabaster-white
temple.  The floor is marble, covered with fresh red rose petals.  A lamp
hangs in the center of the temple, giving off a soft illumination and the
sweet smell of incense.

A small Smithy~
Heat pours out from the fires in the huge stone oven to the rear of the
building.  The smoke is thick, and it threatens to choke off the air in the
room.  A crude counter blocks the the clientel from interfering with the
forge in the back.

This is a crowded yet highly organized business.  It seems that any
manner of product may be purchased here, as there are items lining the walls
for sale.  A path of sorts weaves its way through the merchandise which is
neatly stacked to the ceiling back to the counter.

The slight smell of herbs is on the air in this humble home.  A couch
sits against one wall, and a green rug lay in the center of the hardwood
floor.  The rest of the home is quite spartan.

the guards stay on 24 hour watch.  A sense of tension fills the air, as
