Zone Information Room~
Zone Information Rooms are for the builders to leave notes about the zone for
others.  Mortals are not ment to see these rooms.
 
This zone is for the trade city of Maaken. It lies on the south shore of
the Lake of Dragons, Kortaal lies north and west. The lake is supposed to be
a difficult journey. There is a vehicle which sails here from Kortaal 
daily. 
  
West of Maaken is the Gildor Forest and an Elven village called Nangalen.

City Square~
   You are in the City Square of Maaken.  The view of the Lake of Dragons is
quite impressive from here.  You can see many ships comming and going from 
the port. There are many people going about their business.  To the east is 
the market area and to the west is main street.  To the north a road leads 
to the edge of the cliffs and a road runs down from there to the port.

   As you enter this pub you can smell the spilt ale and wine.  The room is

Port of Maaken~
   You can see all manner of sailing ships docked, leaving and arriving to
the port of Maaken. People seem to be everywhere doing all manner of things.
Unloading good, loading goods, buying, selling and trading. To the south you
can see great cliffs. A wide road has been cut into the cliff that leads into
Maaken proper.

   This house has been transformed by the local thieves into a safe house.
There are many other thieves here milling about all dressed in various

   As you pass through a large gate, which doesn't look like it has been
closed in years, you enter into the Grounds of Hek.  A large beutiful church is
to the south. There are large stairs leading up into it.  To the east and west

   This is the entrance hall of the Church of Hek.  It is extreamly clean and
well kept.  There are large paintings depcting Hek's power on the walls. To
the west is a room marked for travlers.  To the east is a room marked
'Healing'.  And to the south are some very large bronze doors that lead into 
the chapel.
