Pews are arranged in rows counting more than 50, and at the front of the room is the stand where the services take place. Two strange boxes are next to the stand, made of black, netted fabric. The ceiling rises up to meet the chandelier, which in itself is yards across in radius. Thousands of tiny crystal fragments radiate a light that inhabits the entire room. He pours through the scripts of ancient languages you cannot possibly imagine ever being able to comprehend. In this sanctuary he is safe from most of the evils of this world.
