Some of it has strange carvings on it, an ancient script that no current historian has been able to read. Far off in the distance the dark wings of carrion birds wheel and swirve, circling over some battlefield perhaps. It is a great watch tower where many keen eyes look out into the air beyond, searching for some enemy or lost friend flying towards them in the morning. The watchmen here are strong, large gryphons pearched on their powerful limbs. ~ 0 0 0 D0 ~ ~ 0 0 1224 S #1227 Crosswinds~ Here there is a tough wind and you are forced to struggle hard just to keep your balance in the fierce gusts. Fighting your enemies and the wind at the same time is a new experiance for many here. ~ 0 0 0 D0 ~ ~ 0 0 1220 D1 ~ ~ 0 0 1228 D2 ~ ~ 0 0 1229 S #1228 The Mountain Side~ Here the mountain side blocks your path, climbing all the way to the star currents, or so the phoenix legends say. The phoenix story tellers delite in the story of Valyn, a brave yet over-confident phoenix who tried to fly over the ridge in the ancient times of this world, before the great war. He fell from the sky like a bolt of lightning, and shattered the ground where he hit. ~ 0 0 0 D3 ~ ~ 0 0 1227 S #1229 Swift Currents~ The winds are less dangerous here but there are still moving at a good pace. You feel yourself becoming more hardened and skilled the more you fight here, don't forget to head back to the guildmaster so he can teach you new skills! ~ 0 0 0 D0 ~ ~ 0 0 1227 D3 ~ ~ 0 0 1231 S #1230 The Upwind Turn~ ~ 0 4 0 S #1231 Rounding The Peak~ The mountain peak is beside you, as you round it the wind trys to hurl you against it, your wing grazes the stone as you battle against the wind. Gradually you fight against it, and you make it past. ~ 0 0 0 D1 ~ ~ 0 0 1229 D3 ~ ~ 0 0 1223 S #1232 The Guildmaster of Kenku Peak~ Before you stands the great guildmaster of our race, he is very large for a kenku, and because of that they say he was never able to fly. So he took up this task, passing down his knowledge and experiance to teach skills and abilities to you. ~ 0 1024 0 D1 ~ ~ 0 0 1202 S #1233 The Main Currents~ Here the air is filled with the small kenku, either coming in from the lower air below or speeding in from the west, on some errand to the common skies. Some are flying for pure enjoyment, doing turns and stunts to impress the unlookers. Others fly quickly and with a purpose, some flying lazily to their next destination. ~ 0 0 0 D3 ~ ~ 0 0 1202 D5 ~ ~ 0 0 1234 S #1234 Sweeping Down~ The wind whistles in your ears as you plunge down through the air, your wings not flapping, held tight against your body as you dive. You reach an incredable speed as you fall, until you bring up your wings to slow yourself almost to a halt. ~ 0 0 0 D1 ~ ~ 0 0 1235 D4 ~ ~ 0 0 1233 S #1235 Rounding The Mountain~ Your flight is disrupted as a mountain looms in your path, you turn sharply to avoid it, almost grazing the rocks as you pass. The Mountain is damaged on one side, as you can see as you turn around it. Broken, maybe, in some ancient battle that split the stone and ravaged the rock.
