launching off into the sky.  This is the recall room for the kenku.  Placed
on top of the highest peak in kenku territory it over sees everything.

The Edge (Rest Point)~

A Plateau~
This is one of the plateaus of the kenku, here you can rest from your

In the Air~

Diving~
Here you are diving down the winds, swooping lower to the ground with
every second.  You can feel the air become warmer as you decend, approaching
the plateau, the air is rushing past you and you feel the great joy of
flying.

The Lower Air Currents~
You have reached the lower air currents, and are circling above the
plateau, you can see huts and small buildings on the ground surrounded,
there seems to be some organazation to it, they are arranged in rows, but

The Healers Peak~
Here a Kenku priestess uses her divine power to heal the hurts of her
people.  The wounded stand before her, watching awe as their cuts close and
their curses are dispelled.  She is a master of her craft, and unlike the
ancient guildmaster she has a full life ahead of her.  A whole life with
which to care for her people.

The Plateau~
The rocks feel odd against your feet, as you are used to a life of

The Plateau~
In the middle of the great Plateau you feel a calm come over you, the

The Iron Claw Tavern~
A small tavern, a large croud is gathered around the bar, others are
spread out in smaller groups, laughing and talking.  A very drunk kenku is
doing an odd dance on one of the tables...  You decide not to have whatever
he ordered.

The Armoury~
A kenku stands in the middle of the room, inspecting his items and
telling people too buy his most expensive things.  He rushes back and forth
between customers, finally he notices you and comes rushing over, babbling
about his bargains.

The Weapon Shop~
The wooden wall is covered with kenku weaponary of all kinds.  The stone
floor is ruff against your feet, the air seems hot and stuffy.  A
smaller-than-average kenku is sitting behind a low desc, he grins at you and
invites you to see his wares.

Feeding Area~
Here you can buy food that does not lighten your wallet much, the food
here is quick and cheap, low quality fuel for long journeys by air.  In the
older days such places were everywhere, because their used to be many
messangers between peoples all over the world.

The Edge (Rest Point)~
You have come to the edge of the great plateau, and the lower Kenku lands
are far below.  The wind whistles in your ears as strong updrafts shoot up
from below.  Beneath you can see dim figures, sweeping down or struggling up

Turning Towards the Peak~
You see a great mountain peek loom in front of you, yet you can deal with
that later.  The land beneath you is torn and broken as if some ancient
disaster happened here, the rocks are split and shattered, blackened as if

Before the Peak~
Here a great mountain peak rises up and you are forced to bank quickly to
the side, watching the smooth stone as you pass by.  Some of it has strange
carvings on it, an ancient script that no current historian has been able to
read.  They believe that the language has left the mortal worlds, and the
immortals do not speak of it.

Ground (Rest Point)~
Here you can rest from your flying and fighting.  You settle on the
ground, taking a break from your training in combat.  A few others are

Walking down a path from the watch tower you come to a public viewing
area, where anyone from the inside may gaze out and behold the splender of
the day.  Far off in the distance the dark wings of carrion birds wheel and
swirve, circling over some battlefield perhaps.  Their harsh cries pierce
the cool air.

Watch Station~
Here is the only opening in the mountain range that surrounds the land of
the 4 peoples, Avians, Gryphons, Kenkus, and Phoenixes.  It is a great watch
tower where many keen eyes look out into the air beyond, searching for some
enemy or lost friend flying towards them in the morning.  The watchmen here
are strong, large gryphons pearched on their powerful limbs.

Crosswinds~
Here there is a tough wind and you are forced to struggle hard just to
keep your balance in the fierce gusts.  Fighting your enemies and the wind
at the same time is a new experiance for many here.

The Mountain Side~
Here the mountain side blocks your path, climbing all the way to the star
currents, or so the phoenix legends say.  The phoenix story tellers delite
in the story of Valyn, a brave yet over-confident phoenix who tried to fly
over the ridge in the ancient times of this world, before the great war.  He
fell from the sky like a bolt of lightning, and shattered the ground where
he hit.

Swift Currents~
The winds are less dangerous here but there are still moving at a good
pace.  You feel yourself becoming more hardened and skilled the more you

The Guildmaster of Kenku Peak~
Before you stands the great guildmaster of our race, he is very large for
a kenku, and because of that they say he was never able to fly.  So he took
up this task, passing down his knowledge and experiance to teach skills and
abilities to you.

The Main Currents~
Here the air is filled with the small kenku, either coming in from the
lower air below or speeding in from the west, on some errand to the common
skies.  Some are flying for pure enjoyment, doing turns and stunts to
impress the unlookers.  Others fly quickly and with a purpose, some flying
lazily to their next destination.

Sweeping Down~
The wind whistles in your ears as you plunge down through the air, your

Rounding The Mountain~
Your flight is disrupted as a mountain looms in your path, you turn
sharply to avoid it, almost grazing the rocks as you pass.  The Mountain is
damaged on one side, as you can see as you turn around it.  Broken, maybe,
in some ancient battle that split the stone and ravaged the rock.  You pass
the mountain and continue on your path.

Entering the Common Sky~
The air is filled with a flying creatures of all kind sweeping through
the air, avians shaking the air with might strokes from their wide wings,
the tiny kenkus darting past, barely visable in their quick flight, the
bright pheonixes full of colour and magisty, flying gracefully through the
ever changing currents, and the bizarre gryphons, full of strength and
vigor, bird and lion halves are both are wheeling through the air.
