ABANDON Usage: abandon This command allows you to abandon a building or acre of land which your empire no longer wants. This falls under the claim privilege. See also: CEDE, CLAIM, PRIVILEGE, PUBLICIZE # BANNER Usage: banner <color codes> This changes the banner of your empire. It may ONLY contain ansi color codes, which start with &&. You may want to look at the empire list to see which colors are already being used. Stealing an empire's color may get you assassinated. See also: ANSI, RENAME # CEDE Usage: cede <person> (x, y) This is used to cede one acre of land to anyone else currently in the game. If you do not include an (x, y) coordinate, it will cede the land you're on. You can only cede land owned by your empire. Ceding land to a God or Immortal so that you can claim more land may get you in trouble. See also: CLAIM, POLICY, PRIVILEGE, ABANDON # CLAIM Usage: claim Claims the acre you're currently on for your empire. See also: PRIVILEGE, ABANDON, CEDE, PUBLICIZE # DEFECT Usage: defect This command allows you to exit an empire with which you are disillusioned. For whatever reason you leave, make sure you get outside of the radius of all the guard towers. They'll shoot a traitor on sight! See also: PLEDGE # DEMOTE Usage: demote <person> [rank] Demotes a person within the empire. You can specify the name of the rank you'd like to demote them to, or just do it one level at a time. See also: PRIVILEGE, PROMOTE, EXPEL # DEPOSIT WITHDRAW BALANCE BANK "ROOM VAULT" Usage: deposit <item> withdraw <item> balance Deposit is used to deposit gold and silver into a vault. You can deposit any denomination of the money, but it must be done one disc or bar at a time. Depositing money is the only way to increase the empire's wealth. Withdraw lets you extract a bar or disc from your vault. You must type out the full name of the item to be withdrawn as it appears on 'balance' or you may abbreviate it to one word and one letter (e.g. "gold d" for "gold disc"). Balance lists all the money currently deposited in the vault you're standing in. All vaults in an empire contribute individually, so you can only withdraw from your current vault. See also: MELT, GOLD, SILVER # DIPLOMACY Usage: diplomacy <option> <empire> This command is the basis for the interaction among empires. It allows an empire to voice its political opinion on another empire and announce it to that empire. For the privacy of these empires, and to promote a sense of realism, empires cannot view the relations between two other empires. They may only see the relations which directly affect themselves. Options: peace - an end to a war, or a good starting relationship war - a state of supreme distrust and hate depending on the pk option set on the mud, you may only be able to kill someone from an empire you're at war with ally - share facilities and friendship pact - non-aggression pact, prevents guard towers from shooting and demonstrates a mutual trust trade - purely a cosmetic attribute, but demonstrates an agreement to exchange goods and services distrust - a state just short of war which indicates hatred # EDELETE Usage: edelete <empire> Immortal tool to delete an empire. # EMPIRES Usage: empire [name/number] This will display the statistics on all of the empires, or just the one you specify. It's an excellent tool for comparing them, or for espionage. See also: NEWEMPIRE, "NEW EMPIRE" # ENROLL Usage: enroll <person> When a person has pledged his loyalty to your empire, you can enroll him into it. This will start him at the lowest empire level. See also: EXPEL, PROMOTE, PRIVILEGE, PLEDGE # ESAY ETALK Usage: etalk <text> etalk #level <text> Allows you to talk to your empire on a private channel, even from the other side of the world. This is very useful for espionage and other secret activities you might be participating in. Examples: > etalk Hi guys! > etalk #high_lord Hi, High Lords! # EXPEL Usage: expel <person> Kicks a person out of the empire. See also: PRIVILEGE, DEMOTE, ENROLL # MELT Usage: melt <item> Melt is used to combine silver and gold into larger, more impressive denominations of money which contribute more to a kingdom's wealth. This makes it easier for trading. You cannot, however, break the new currency down into its smaller form. See also: DEPOSIT, WITHDRAW, SILVER, GOLD # NEWEMPIRE, "NEW EMPIRE" # PLEDGE Usage: pledge <empire> Allows you to pledge your loyalty to an empire. If they find you worthy, you may be allowed to join. See also: ENROLL, DEFECT # PROMOTE Usage: promote <person> [level] The promote command is used to advance someone's level within your empire. Naturally, to do this they must be in your empire. The level is optional, if you don't specify the level it will advance the target one level. Example: promote Newplayer 4 promote Newplayer See also: DEMOTE, ENROLL, PRIVILEGE # PRIVILEGE Usage: privilege <ability> <level> claim build harvest promote chop cede These privileges can be set to specific levels within the empire so that the ruler can control what his subjects do. Some privileges contain more than one command. Promote, for example, includes demote. See also: CLAIM, BUILD, HARVEST, PROMOTE, DEMOTE, CHOP, CEDE # PUBLICIZE Usage: publicize Allows you to make an area public so others can use it. This also undoes the same command. Others cannot withdraw from public vaults or dismantle public buildings. See also: CLAIM, CEDE, ABANDON, UNPUBLICIZE # RANKS RANK Usage: ranks <number of ranks> rank <number> <name> The RANKS command sets the amount of ranks you have in your empire. The RANK command sets the name of each rank. Example: ranks 5 rank 1 Citizen rank 2 &1Warrior See also: PROMOTE, DEMOTE # RENAME Usage: rename <name> Allows an empire to change the name of his or her empire. The name defaults to the ruler's name, but can be changed to virtually anything. # "ROOM ARMORY" The Armory The armory is a formal room where weapons and armor are stored for use by the legions. This room has no other official function, but simply serves the all powerful purpose of organization. # "ROOM BEDROOM" A Bedroom Bedrooms are sleeping quarters for those who would like a place to rest. Sleeping in a bed is far more restful than napping elsewhere and thus causes a person to regenerate faster. # "ROOM DINING ROOM" "ROOM DININGROOM" The Dining Room The dining room is a place where people congregate to eat a formal meal together. It represents one of the most sacred family events, as well as the most personal social event. # "ROOM FORGE" The Forge The forge is an indoor version of the forge building. Military installations often contract blacksmiths to work safely within their walls. This room has all the same features as an outside forge. # "ROOM GREAT HALL" The Great Hall Castles have magnificent great halls which are often lined with suits of armor and other impressive military symbols. This is nothing more than a connecting room, however, and does not have any other purpose. # "ROOM HALLWAY" A Hallway This is a small connecting room used simply to lead to other places of a house, fort, or castle. It serves no other purpose. # "ROOM KITCHEN" The Kitchen Kitchens are used simply to cook food. They can be used for all the same purposes as the baker building, but are inside instead. # "ROOM SITTING ROOM" The Sitting Room Sitting rooms are a place where guests are entertained and families congregate. In castles, they often simply preceed bedrooms and are private places where royals rest. # "ROOM STORE ROOM" "ROOM STORAGE" The Store Room This room is often found in multiple in large structures. It is simply used for organization and storage. They're much more secure than if items were left on the ground. # "ROOM STUDY" The Study The study is a place where work is done, records are kept, or money is counted. It is also a place of letter-writing and communication with others. Studies automatically include the mud's standard message board. # "ROOM SKY BRIDGE" "ROOM SKYBRIDGE" A Sky Bridge Sky bridges are links from tree to tree which allow passage in forest dwellings. They are very strong, and never collapse if built by the right people. # "ROOM THRONE ROOM" A Magnificent Throne Room The throne room is the place from which the royals rule their kingdom. It is often very expansive and filled with little more than a pair of thrones. The extra space is to create intimidation and give commoners a place to grovel. # "ROOM TUNNEL" A Winding Tunnel A tunnel is the hallway of the subterrain. They allow for travel deep beneath the earth with as little support as two trees every fifteen feet. # ROSTER Usage: roster <empire> This allows you to view the roster of any empire. It's useful to know who's working for whom in this world. # SILVER GOLD Silver and gold are found in mines, although more rarely than iron ore. They are used as currency in many empires for trade and exchange. Some empires, however, prefer to use material goods instead. # TATTOO "TATTOO COMMAND" Usage: tattoo <person> This allows you to tattoo someone else with your empire's tattoo, providing; of course, that you're in a tattoo parlour with all the proper equipment. See also: TATTOOSET # TATTOOSET Usage: tattooset <animal symbol> This allows an emperor to change the empire's official tattoo, the one given in tattoo parlours. Once you get a tattoo, you cannot get another or remove it, so it's a good idea not to get one until you sure you've set the one you want. All tattoos are equal in power, but modify different abilities. Tattoo power is always determined by the power of the empire a character is in.
