Can we tone down a few guards in highstaff? One of\r\nthe reasons that you dont see more people staying there is that\r\nif you kill a youngster so she wont grow up into some goody goody\r\nand a guard comes by you get your backside smoked. This chance\r\nis highly likely since the proportion of guards to people seems\r\nto be about 1 in 5. I would make my home in Highstaff, but since\r\nI am usually running away from a Captain or Proud Guard I've\r\ntic'ed off it just isnt worth it. The\r\nfeatures I've added to make the game more challenging assume a\r\nsmalish-normal playerbase of about 10-20 people online at any\r\ngiven moment. As you see, with only 1 or 2, it becomes MUCH\r\nharder.\r\n\r\nWiley has *ALWAYS* been designed around people grouping together\r\ninstead of wandering around solo... yes, you could do it solo...\r\nbut it was DAMN hard!\r\n\r\nMy suggestion would be to try and convince a few friends to give\r\nthe place a chance and join up with you. I haven't gone out of\r\nmy way to advertise the place because, frankly, I don't think\r\nit's out of beta-testing yet.
