chipped and worn, the platforms have mossed and eroded, and rampant growth
of nature spreads through the seemingly incessant lines of cracks and chips
in the pavement. Horrid sounds of foul beasts echo through the valleys and
forests to the north - no sane man dare stomach the sights of hellish damnation
in the asylums of Gods to the north. To the south lies a desert wasteland,

Scars scale the stony walls of this cell, giving evidence of scratching through
in a feeble attempt to reach the outside with nothing but bare finger and nail.
The bars, though slightly rusted of the ages, still stand strong and durable,
as if they had gained strength as each man tested his mettle and might against
them with each attempt to bend or break them. The scent of death, decay, and
defecation is heavy within the room, almost liquid within the air, all that
remains of the last forgotten soul abandoned to the jail and forgotten from
the recorded times.

wander aimlessly about the city, ignoring the living as if they were of no
concern to them - nay, as if they were as inexistent as they were living. An
occasional tumble weed whisks past with the bellowing wind, creating a cliche
scene, perfect for a showdown at high noon, ironically the eternal day of this
mystical place creates high noon at each waking moment of the inhabitants.

Sounds of horror wreak the sullen skies from the sanctuary to the south. Ancient,
tarnished stones built up beyond ages of recognition stand to create a marvelous
sight of grounds of endless and tainted madness. A stronghold to the damned,
thick steel doors and lengthy draw bridges over moats lead way to the impenetrable
citadel of this forsaken encampment. Though seemingly impenetrable to siege,
the proprietors of endless ages ago have left it ill maintained. The moats,
even if once stalling to enemies, have dried, the drawbridges have fallen,
and the last defense, gated doors and portcullis left open and unmanned.

bear witness to the last hours of the lives of several criminals, and hold

cadavers for all eternity.A small desk is home to the county sheriff, who's
soul still ponders over paper work from times long passed, and a small bench
holds strong to the lines of visitors to their friends and loved ones, clasped

west. The original shutter doors lay in splintered heaps, replaced by thick,
oaken, reinforced doors to keep intruders out and combatants in with greater
effect. Damaged troughs lay ruin to bodies of the defeated long tossed away,
spilling sun dried feed upon the ancient, yet sturdy, floor boards. Inside
this once was war zone would make a great place to practice battle, or to escape
from the hectic sounds of the city for concealed combat with a foe.

Sounds of horror wreak the sullen skies from the sanctuary to the southeast.
Ancient, tarnished stones built up beyond ages of recognition stand to create
a marvelous sight of grounds of endless and tainted madness. A stronghold to
the damned, thick steel doors and lengthy draw bridges over moats lead way
to the impenetrable citadel of this forsaken encampment. Though seemingly impenetrable
to siege, the proprietors of endless ages ago have left it ill maintained.
The moats, even if once stalling to enemies, have dried, the drawbridges have
fallen, and the last defense, gated doors and portcullis left open and unmanned.

his home here, sullenly staring at the floor, reflecting upon ages long passed,
ages of life, and ages of death.

This room is filled with the smell of... blood and... Something unfamiliar to
you. This room has a blood stained carpet and blood stained walls. There is
a bed in the center of the room... The frame is made of something that resembles
human bones. To the left of the door sitting in a corner is a huge chair sitting
six feet tall in the air easily. To the right is a standard dresser with a
few dangerous looking items sitting upon it. The windows are all boarded up
as if the owner of this room has a severe dislike of sunlight. A sign is posted
on the inside of the door. "If you have made it this far...You will not make
it out."

Lab stations and utensils litter the floors of the giant room. Test tubes lay
ruin to the raging fists of frustrated scientists, unpleased with their results
of failure. Beakers of strange, foaming, bubbling liquids still hum quietly,
pouring off their residual energy into the thick air, all that remains of a
tortured genius' several scientific endeavors. One may search for endless eternities
and still not find what they're looking for. A small voice activation box is

Corpses of the fallen lay strewn out across the floor here, their flesh rotting
or eaten by their slayers. The walls are lined with parchment, made of the
dried flesh of a thousand virgins, reminding the occupant of the room who true
madness was. Various tools and wares lay scattered upon benches and in display
cases with price tags attached, though most seem to be tagged with various
body parts rather than prices, as though Pat the Monkey truly meant to charge
an arm and a leg for his supplies.

A modest room to meet a humble mans end of a day, this room bears little signs
of the inhabitant's greatness, and little decoration for a visitor to pry upon.
Simple furniture lays scattered in a haphazard formation, to suit a philosopher's
need to meditate upon any jolt of inspiration, and a thin, untidied bed lies
in the northern corner, looking as though it is host to many a nights troubled
sleep. The portraits of past leaders, hanging upon the walls, have been overturned,
staring into the wall for all ages, and only a grinning pictures of the current
leader remains glancing about the room, staring into the doorway, as if to
greet it's likeness, or to ward off intruders.

&zThe Council's Chamber~
Portraits of council members of ages ago litter the walls of this spacious room,
and yet there is still room for more to be added. Their ghastly pictures staring
out at the council's table, a large, sturdy, rectangular table, seem lively
enough to be inhabiting the frames themselves, ever watching for a wrong move
or fatal mistake to add another portrait of a fallen council member. The room
has been soundproofed to prevent distractions, and spies, alike, to grant the
council a moments peace, only the feral war cries of the fallen or ancestral
guards pierced the once secured room, however in recent ages holes have been
pried through the walls, granting access to the sounds of the unwelcome, granting
an ease of alerting the council to prepare the defenses, of whomever now may
be occupying the citadel of pain today.
