Before you is an unusual dimensional occurance. You're standing on an
oddly plyable surface, rather like standing on a cloud. Surrounding you on
all sides is a thick, purple and black fog. To the south is the tear in
space between this world and the material realm. The fog is thinner to the
north, allowing passage. The fog swirls around you, obscuring any view of
the deeper areas of the strange mist.

The Realm of the Ethereals~
The fog is thin around you here, thicker only to the south. Before you,
as though in some sort of invisible bubble, is an enormous clear space in
the mist. It seems to take a more orderly appearance here. The swirling
purple cloud is forming buildings now, Actual structures made of mist. As
you look out upon the depths of this place, you see creatures moving in the
darkness. You are standing above a city.

The Material Bazaar~
Towering over you is a large arch, built quite clearly out of stone. It
is something of a relief to see material construction amidst the fog, as the
arch appears to be a gateway to a small pavillion of material goods. A
stone floor has been built on top of the fog, allowing material beings to
wander with ease. You hear the familiar sounds of bartering and bargaining,
and you even see others from your reality wandering the area. West will
take you into the material area, and east will return you to the fogbound
world of Etherium.

You appear to be inside the ethereal equivalent of a restaurant. Various
ethereals flutter back and forth, stopping at "tables" of the purple fog to

Armor of questionable quality seems to fill this shop. Some of it is

The Southern Material Bazaar~
A variety of peculiar smells are prominent in this area, drifting lazily
from the shop to the south. The sign above its door says it is an herbal
apothecary. Glancing about, you notice people near the shop sitting in some
kind of daze, slight grins on their faces and a glaze in their eyes. To the
north, you see the signpost marking the center of the bazaar.

Jason's Herbal Apothecary~
Strange and exotic fragances fill this shop, which is overgrown in
peculiar plantlife. From flowers to weeds, a virtual forest of potted
plants dominate the room, almost obscuring the counter at the far end.

A strange duality is in this area, as you hear the sounds of a smith
forging metal coming from the eastern shop, and the delicious smell of

Axis Arms and Armor~
Works of weaponry and protective armors both lay scattered about the
shop. A large variety of equipment is on display, ranging from daggers to
full suits of armor. You can see what looks like a smithy in the back of
the shop, making it seem this gear is produced locally.

The Interdimensional Pet Shop~
A smell you cannot describe assaults your senses as you step into this
shop. With a peculiar sinking sensation, you realize this shop is not
material, as it appeared from without, but ethereal. Standing on the purple
fog once again, you see an ethereal behind the counter. Somehow, you get
the feeling it is impatient with you to buy something. The "shelves" are
filled with what you can only imagine are the kinds of things needed to care
for interdimensional beasts. With some hesitation, you wonder just what
kind of animals are in the back room.

The Mating Pools~
This is a large, open area of the fog. Floating in the fog here are more
then just ethereals, there are patches of a strange, deep purple light. As
you watch, pairs of ethereals enter these pools of light. Once inside, you
see them shifting their "bodies", and linking together. As they do, a new,
smaller ethereal seems to grow between them. This must be how they
reproduce.

Before the Temple~
You stand before a grand material structure. Although it is definitely
built from a material substance, you don't recognize it. It is a strange,
silvery blue, smooth structure. It stretches high into the fog, out of
sight. To the north a little ways, there is what looks like an entrance to
the structure, but it is blocked by a twisting patch of the fog. It doesn't
look like there's any way through.

The Fog Bridge~
You are standing on what seems to be a bridge made of purple fog. To the
east and west are sections of the ethereal city. The fog's barriers seem
far away from you here, as though you were in an open field. Below you can
see the fog swirl and flow, like a strange and beautiful sea.

Before Chaos~
You stand at the edge of a fold in this peculiar reality. The path ends
abruptly here, leading out into empty space. Far below, you can see a
tumultous, churning field of the purple fog, much more active than the fog
in the city. To the west is a section of ethereal "homes". All around you,
detatched and floating loose in space are other collections of these homes,
but they are beyond your reach. It seems only the ethereals can traverse
the space between you and them.
