NAME
     slice_array - "implements old-style slice_array

SYNOPSIS
     mixed *slice_array(mixed *arr, int from, int to);

DESCRIPTION
     This simul_efun exists mainly to simplify  porting  of  old-
     style  mudlibs  to  MudOS;  if you are writing new code, you
     should use  the  arr[from..to]  syntax  instead  of  calling
     slice-array.   The  original  slice_array  efun  returned an
     array containing only the array elements between the  "from"
     index and the "to" index; e.g. slice_array( ({ a,b,c,d,e }),
     2, 3) would return the array ({ c,d }).
