In a Dirt Tunnel~
This narrow dirt tunnel is cold and bare. A small hole heads upwards,

its entrance easily reachable. The soil here is hard-packed into the

ground, and small roots pop up from the sides of this tunnel. Echoes of

growling and a faint scraping sound come from the east, but perhaps it is

just the surrounding roots which brush against the sides of the tunnel.

A slight breeze blows icy air from the west. Small roots pop up from the

A pungent odor seems to eminate from the dirt itself in this short,

Room of Eggs~
This tiny room is full of strange eggs in various sizes and colors. The

eggs are covered with a green slime, but they have a rough, leathery feel

to them, like a snake's eggs. There is a small hole in the east wall,

covered with a thick mucus-like substance.

eggs~
Strange eggs lie about the room in abundance. They are in various sizes

and colors. Most of the eggs are colored a dark-blue or violet color

which are marked with iridescent speckles of light green. They all seem

to be stuck together by a thick coating of green slime. An egg over in

one corner of the room seems to be a little loose.

A Widening Dirt Tunnel~
The dirt tunnel widens to the east. Larger rocks and small boulders

litter the room. Several holes line the western end of the tunnel to the

north and south, and many are covered in a mucus-like layer of slime.

The material of the walls seems to be slowly changing to rock as the

tunnel progresses east, and quiet echoes resound from that direction.

The entire room is covered in a thick, slimy green substance that smells

horrible and makes it hard to stand up. Great holes have been bored into

Several shelves of smooth rock act as a great spiral stairway down into a

In a Large Underground Cavern - Before a Large Archway~
This enormous cavern has slowly eroded over time, and the bluish rock

here is polished and smooth. Great shelves of stone form a natural

stairway that leads upwards in a spiral fashion. A massive archway can

be seen to the south, made of blue-hued granite and smooth like the

surrounding rocks. A small pool of water has formed in the bowl-shaped

center of the cavern here, but it is covered with a thin layer of dark

green slime, and the ground near it is slippery. A foul stench emanates

from the area surrounding the pool, and small ripples in the pool have

been made by small quakes in the earth.

~
[Nereus] Another issue, why's this guy here at all? He doesn't seem to

This massive stone archway looks natural, but something about it looks

almost too perfect. The rock itself is extremely smooth, almost

slippery, and the blue rock itself seems to glow slightly. Small marks

it was writing, it is illegible. As you take a closer look through the

archway, you notice that the air seems to waver and liquify like a pebble

being thrown into a calm pool. Apparently the archway is a portal of

some kind.
