Great shelves of stone form a natural stairway that leads upwards in a spiral fashion. A massive archway can be seen to the south, made of blue-hued granite and smooth like the surrounding rocks. A small pool of water has formed in the bowl-shaped center of the cavern here, but it is covered with a thin layer of dark green slime, and the ground near it is slippery. A foul stench emanates from the area surrounding the pool, and small ripples in the pool have been made by small quakes in the earth. ~ [Nereus] Another issue, why's this guy here at all? The rock itself is extremely smooth, almost slippery, and the blue rock itself seems to glow slightly. Small marks seem to have been carved in one side of it, but the stone resisted and if it was writing, it is illegible. As you take a closer look through the archway, you notice that the air seems to waver and liquify like a pebble being thrown into a calm pool. Apparently the archway is a portal of some kind. ~ E portal 1 south~ The only thing noticeable about this portal is that the air about it shimmers and waters like water.
