At the End of the Beach Path~
To the west, you can see a narrow path which has been beaten into the

fine sand that passes between two dunes. The path halts abruptly as it

abuts a wide, sandy beach. The sand, stretching in all directions, is

fine-grained; brightly golden in color away from the water's edge, darker

gold where waves have crested upon the shore. The air hangs heavy with

the tang of saltwater and the unmistakeable smell of fish. Eastward, in

the distance, lie the azure waters of the Sea of Stars.

The beach spreads out before you, far-ranging in scope. Its granules are

Pieces of driftwood, long strands of dark green seaweed, the shell of a

long-dead crab, lie scattered about, dark blotches upon the sand.
