wooden ward has been set hanging in the centre of the room to ward of evil 
spirits.

imaginable, carefully crafted and displayed.  Like the other homes a pot-
bellied stove sits in the corner, and next to it lies a small table for

Desc This tavern is one of the most frequented places in the village.  The stuffed
sea creatures on the wall boast of the proficiency of the fishermen.  A long
bench forms the bar and every chair in the tavern is lined up along it.  
Broken splitters of wood lie scattered across the floor from many a drunken 
fight which erupts into the tossing of furniture.  The saloon type door makes 
for the easy expulsion of those who aren't handling their liquor well.  
Topless mermaid monuments thrust their chests out provocatively suggesting at 
the gender of most of the taverns visitors.  A large drinking vessel is 
displayed on the wall behind the bar.

Desc Here the path recedes and begins to give way to the sand.  The wind blows the

obviously sheltered from the rage of the ocean by the cliffs.  The beach ahead 
looks like the perfect place to launch a boat.

Name Village Temple~
Desc This is the village temple, it looks very new, almost as if it has been built 
in a rush, to accommodate someone.  Like the rest of the village all the 
ornaments are crafted in the form of relics from the sea.  Directly in front 
towers a giant statue of the goddess of the sea.  She has a mermaid like tail 
and scales down the length of her back.  Her torso is human, and her bounty is 
covered in modesty by two giant clam shells.  Silver seaweed form the length 
of her long shinning hair that reaches to the base of her tail.  An 
expression of harmony radiates from her smile beseeching of you to stay a 
while.  The temple itself although simple has been put to use, and incense 
burn from hundreds of sea horse shaped candles, filling the air with an aroma 
of tranquillity.

Desc A gaping hole opens in the side of the cliff, it is completely dark, and

The continuous crashing of waves has been tearing at the edges of the cave so
that it is slowly becoming visible from the beach front.  Although the 
entrance is partially hidden from a certain angle, the opening is very large.

the mast of a ship.  Wooden rungs extend from the sides of the pole making it
possible to climb up.

in front of you is no more than the height of an average dwarf.

Name Port Midship~
Desc On the port side of the ship the sides have risen almost entirely from the sand.
A massive hole has been smashed into the wall which is spherical in shape.
A long plank extends from about half way down the wall, and some stair lead
up to the plank.  Right on the edge of the plank scratch marks scar the wood
and you can see a sharks tooth deeply embedded into the plank.  Several turret
holes have been carved from the wall allowing what must have been cannons
to peer from the side of the vessel.

On the edge of the plank you can see a sharks tooth deeply embedded in the
wood, nothing short of carving up the wood itself would free the tooth.  Also
along the edge of the plant a bite has been taken from the wood, and the
circumference of the chomp is about the size of a large shield.

Although the cannons themselves are missing the holes they used to protrude
from still ensure a formidable sight.

Name Midship~
Desc You are directly in the middle of the old sea vessel, the planks beneath you 
have been rotten and repatched several times to leave a slight lump in the deck.
Here is where the ship was steered from and a massive brass wheel, dulled
by years of disuse sits ridged upon a rusted axel.  Six feet back from the wheel
is a gigantic mast reaching high into the caves mouth, the top of the mast
almost scrapes the ceiling of the cave, and atop the mast is a crows nest.
Small foot sized poles extend from the mast making it possible to climb it.

Name Starboard~
Desc This side of the ship is half embedded into the cave wall.  The ship must 
have continued on its route through the cave until finally striking the side 
and running ground here.  There are heavy scraping marks in the rock wall of 
the cave.  The skeletons of men are jammed between the rock and the ship and 
have splintered neatly under the pressure.  A human skull is crammed tightly 
into the actual rock surface, forming an eerie and unnerving spectacle.

The humans scull has been squeezed tightly by the rock and the vessel, leaving
it somewhat contorted and unnatural looking.  Whoever ordered these people
to be placed on the side of the ship valued the ship more than life.

Name Port Bow~
Desc The width of the ship begins to narrow here, and the slight list of the ship
continues upward.  This section of the vessel looks in much better condition
than the rest of the vessel, almost as if it has been preserved.  To the east is
the side wall of a cabin which from the outside looks like the most luxurious
section of the ship.  The wall comes right to the edge of the ship leaving no
passage further north except through the cabin itself.

Name Captain's Quarters~
Desc The room despite its age is well kept, and furnished elegantly.  The wooden
walls and ceiling have maintained their lustre, and radiate a dull glow from
the thick wax coating them, making them look alive.  A tables has been placed
slightly to the side of the pathway leading to the door on the northern side.
Silver cutlery and a heavy silver goblets are layed out.  A bed covered in
blood red sheets is pressed up against a corner of the room, and some iron
shackles dangle from chains which have been secured to the wall.  A set of
small shutters form a window, which would have let in only the slightest
amount of light, the hinges on the shutters have long since rusted, and the
left shutter dangles from a single strand of metal.

This bed has a valance and several layers of red satin sheets, the dark red
color of blood.  Iron chains hang down from their bolted position above
the bed with two slim wrist shackle too tight for a man attached to the ends.

Name Bow of the Ship~
Desc The width of the ship narrows considerably, and tilts slightly upward.  The
floor however is in relatively good condition and looks safe to walk on.
To the north extends the a long pole with a the statue of a mermaid on its
end.  The sides of the ship rise higher towards the front of the ship and
join together in an amalgamation of strength and defiance to the waves
they once crashed through.  Several barnacles cling to the railing on
top of the walls, and have hardened with the wood beneath them.

Name On the Bow Sprit~
Desc You are on a long pole about as thick as the main mast of the ship, it is
round and hence takes some concentration to retain balance.  On the
end of the pole is the beautiful carving of a mermaid, with long dark
hair flowing down her back like foam cresting a wave.  Her lower half
is intricately carved into a tail, with small yet detailed scales perforating
the length of it.  Two clam shells cover her chest and a carved wooden
necklace, made to look like a string of pearls clings tightly around her
neck.  Barnacles also cling to the pole here yet none scar the carving of
the mermaid.

Desc The climbing poles make ascending this pole easy.  The mast itself has been
worn smooth by the rough hands of one of this ships sailors.  Right at the
top of the mast is a crows nest.  From up here you can see the expanses of
the cave.  It appears the ship has been dragged in here.
