Name A Gloomy Path~
Desc Whatever the position of the sun, no light shines on this path. The dark, 
thick leaved trees on either side of the path, create dark heavy shadows on 
the gravel path. Far up ahead in an eastward direction some construction 
looms. Beside the gravel path the ground is quite dry and the scarce growths 
that have managed to survive seem to be begging for moisture.

Name A Gloomy Path~
Desc The trees are close together here and their branches create a domed 
structure above you. This has transformed this path amongst the trees into a 
corridor of branches and tree trunks. Reflections off an iron gate provide a 
little light towards the east. At the other end, the path takes you deeper 
into the forest in a westward direction.

Name Before the Iron Gates~
Desc An iron gate runs in a north south line across a dirt gravel path here.  The 
gate consists of thick, heavy vertical spikes that are fixed in horizontal 
lattices.  They give an impenetrable impression and judging by some marks of 
wear, consisting of scratchmarks mainly, they have been tested thoroughly.  
Part of the gate seems to hang on a set of hinges and has a thick knob 
attached to it.

Name Inside the Compound~
Desc A strange smell lingers in the air. A warm smell of cooking meat mixed with 
something foul. Small scraps of meat lay scattered on the dirt in between 
the empty cages that seem to be everywhere. Most of the cages are empty but 
scratching noises can be heard coming from others.

Name Amongst some Cages~
Desc Cages in all sizes and shapes are racked up on top of each other here. Most 
of the larger ones have thick large bars of metal to make sure no one or no 
thing can escape. To the east you see a wooden wall of the main building in 
this compound. Its wooden planks are nailed together with thick, long nails. 
Some sawdust covers a large portion of the ground here.

Desc Dirt, sawdust and scraps of food are what you see when looking at the floor. 
 The bits of meat that lie here have been ripped at by something sharp and 
ferocious. To the south the main building stands. Its sturdy walls and thick 
planks appear strong enough to keep the strongest beasts out, or in as the 
case may be. There is a door along the wall to the east of here.

Desc A large steel enforced door stands between you and the warmth that this 
building to your south can offer. All around you cages litter the ground, 
filled with small creatures or simply empty. To the north you see the dark 
coloured iron gate that surrounds this compound. Some scurrying noises can 
be heard coming from some of the cages.

Name Inside the Northern Gate~
Desc A dark, steel gate runs along the northern end of this compound. Its sturdy 
rails are covered in claw marks. Some of the rails are slightly bent, which 
is hardly believable considering their thickness. Beneath the gate, 
something has dug a hole providing the only escape, or entrance, in that 
direction. The sawdust on the ground is riddled with claw marks, as if 
someone or something has recently been dragged across the ground here.

Desc This appears to be a refuse corner. Broken cages and empty crates have been 
thrown on a large pile here. Some rats and other rodents scuttle around amid 
the refuse, hoping to find some fresher meat that the torn, rotting chunks 
that lie scattered over the rest of the compound.

Desc This dark and gloomy path has seen very little light from the looks of the 
soil beneath the trees. Few plants live beneath the large, thickly leaved 
trees that stand here. Some animals can be hurd scattering about the 
treetops, and the odd hooting of an owl echoes through the dark passageway.

Name a Wooden Hallway~
Desc A few torches, fastened tightly to the wooden walls in steel brackets, light 
this hallway. The floor, consisting of sturdy, thick planks, is riddled 
with scratch marks. A few of the planks are partialy ripped up out of the 
ground. Heavy cell doors are situated to the west and the east, with 
massive bolts on them.

Name A Wooden Hallway~
Desc Sounds of beasts huffing and puffing taunt your ears. The doors to the west 
and east of here look like those of a prison cell. Through a small slit in 
the door, only darkness can be seen. There is a stench that fills the air 
like a poisonous gas. To the south the hallway leads towards a metal 
framework of steel and iron.

Name Before the Framework~
Desc This construction of steel and iron is amazing. Large plates of steel have 
been attached over iron bars, creating a framework of metal. Many bumps on 
the plate suggest alot of pressure has been asserted from the other side of 
this construction. A small puddle of dried blood lies beneath the steel 
plates.

Desc A foul stench immediately reaches you, the stench of rot. The immensity of 
it is incredible. As soon as you wonder what it could be, your gaze falls 
upon a large pile of corpses. Some of them have been carved in, others just 
left intact. A large swarm of flies buzzes over this festering pile of 
rotting meat.

Name Inside a Cell~
Desc This room resembles a prison cell in many ways. The stark walls and no 
furniture give it a very cold feel indeed. Amongst the straw, a neat pile of 
bones lies neatly stacked with the smaller bones on top, and the larger 
bones at the bottom. The bones don't look very old, but they have been 
completly stripped of meat.

Desc The walls, bare of any marking what so ever, stand in great contrast with 
the floor. Although the floor is of a simple rough rock, it is littered 
with familiar objects. Bones, skulls and torn bits of clothing seem to

Desc The only light in this room comes from a small slit in the sturdy door to 
the east. The small beam of light shows very little in this shadowy room. 
There is no furniture, apart from an empty crate in the corner of the room. 
A small pool of dried up blood lies in the center of the room where the 
floor is slightly lower.

Desc Sawdust and straw litter the floor of this cold cell room. The low ceiling 
and the smooth walls give a claustrophobic feel to the room. On the far wall 
some writing has been scribbled in blood `#`r"Beware of the heads"`^.

Name The Gutter~
Desc A gushing noise can be heard coming from the side of this corridor. The 
source of this noise is a gutter, that has been dug along the wall to the 
south. A dark red fluid flows quite forcefully through this gutter. The 
wooden walls that enclose this hallway are stained along the gutter. After 
a little inspection the dark red fluid appears to be blood.

Name The Tannery~
Desc Tall racks stand here with stretched animal hides spanned accross them. A 
few objects of comfort also lie about this end of the corridor like a chair 
and a table. To one corner of the room, a large pile of skinned carcasses 
lies collecting flies. The smell coming from this pile is disgusting.

Name Before a Sturdy Fence~
Desc The trees overhead form a gentle canopy, rustling softly in the breeze. 
Strangely though, there are no sounds of animals in the branches, nor birds 
singing. It is an uneasy quiet. To the north, the forest continues, but to 
the south you catch a glimpse of a building of some sort. A fence bars 
travel in that direction, but something has dug a hole beneath it. It's 
impossible to tell if it was to enter or escape.

Name A Gloomy Path~
Desc Towards the south hardly any light penetrates the leaves and twigs that 
create a corridor of plantlife here. The ground also undergoes a dramatic 
change in that direction as it becomes very dark, although not necesarily 
rich. Towards the north, the ground is very sandy and the trees thin out and 
become alot smaller.
