&Y"My companions and I came upon a small garden, hidden within the forest. 
At first, it seemed like any other abandoned place. Until the trees attacked 
us! Sarikan found some fragments of paper, and we came to realise that the 
place we had found was the training ground for a young necromancer apprenticed 
to a dark master. Nor is it the only one. It seems the lad's master has much 
land, and assigned apprentices to various spots. The one with the most success 
would rise in his master's ranks. This lad didn't have much luck. Things got 
out of hand, and now he skulks about, hiding from the monsters he made. 
The others have left me to deal with this area, while they check out the 
other apprentices."
"I fear I am dying. I have failed in my duty. I destroyed the young of the 
ant queen, but she drove me off. One of her winged comrades yanked my staff 
from my hand. My companions expected me to deal with the lair of evil here, 
and I have failed. I killed many ants, but I fear I will die of my wounds. 
I have not the strength of mind left to heal myself. I have failed.."

A Muddy Cavern~
~
Muddy water covers the floor of the cavern.  Slimy stalagmites reach
up from the floor, striving to meet overhanging stalactites.  The
sound of water dripping all around is magnified by unending echoes.

A Muddy Cavern~
~
Stalagmites rise up out of shallow muddy water.  Overhanging 
stalactites drop down towards their mates below.  Thin tunnels
of dirty water trickle unceasingly down the surrounding walls.

A Muddy Cavern~
~
Slimy water sloshes languidly as drops from the ceiling plop down.
Algae coats the walls, as well as small rocks thrusting out of the 
water.  Roots thrust down out of the ceiling, striving for, but
not reaching, the liquid below.

A Muddy Cavern~
~
The half-decayed body of a dead rat is barely visible in thick,
muddy water.  A single bone that seems like a humanoid thigh bone
lies beside the corpse of the rat.  Both are firmly mired in the mud.

The Bottom of the Well~
~
The ground here is churned into mud.  In all directions, the ground
sinks below scummy water.  Endless dripping echoes throughout the
area with relentless monotony.  Overhead, a gaping hole cleaves the
ceiling, a rusty ladder affixed to its wall.

A Muddy Cavern~
~
Debris is piled in the water near the wall to the east.  Large,
deep scratch-marks mar the wall itself, almost as if something
had been attempting to dig through the wall.  Water drips in an
unending monotonous trickle from the ceiling overhead.

~
Stagnant water laps against algae coated rocks.  Tangled root ends
thrust downward from the ceiling, looking almost like twisted
bones.  The sound of dripping water echoes in the otherwise silent
cavern, as drop follows drop in an unending pattern.

The Lair of the Queen~
~
A large chamber has been hollowed out at the end of the tunnel.
Large off-white globes are the eggs of the ant queen, guaranteeing
the continuance of the colony.  Oddly, there are no ants present
in either the pupal or larval stages.
