Among these gods who rebelled were the Shadow God the Sand God and even the God of Death. The Shadow God's realm was turned into a valley of pure shadow and raised above the earth separating it from the rest of the world. He resides in the castle to the north, one day hoping to regain his powers. If you came here to try and beat him I know of a way, a small quest for the right item to get the job done.'

Very little light presents itself inside the hut. Strange magical 
equipment lines the walls giving one the image that whomever lives here

Nearing a Shadow City~
~
The city of darkness looms ahead. From the outside it doesn't seem very 
large but it is very orderly. The walls reach up high making only the tops 
of the houses and the castle visible from here. To the south is the 
crossroads in the dark forest.

~
A shadowman guards the front entrance to the city. The walls of the city 
are dark, as is the gate it's self. The path to the south leads back to

The city spreads out surrounding the castle. Darkness is deep here 
almost like a fog more then just the absence of light. The castle reaches 
high over the city, a small light glowing at the highest tower.

Small shops and even a few houses can be seen along this road that leads

There doesn't seem like anything special is in this shop. No shopkeep, no

Near an Ancient Castle~
~
A large castle looms to the north, its iron gates swinging open as if it

The massive castle looms in the north, with the rest of the city to the
light completely. Shadows move about the area, as they always do 
south. A bright light shines in the top tower, otherwise being devoid of
independent of bodies to project them.

A Small Off Trail~
~
This small trail leads off a bit from the main road. There seems to be a 
cave to east from here, as the road is to the west. A deep breathing can 
be heard from the cave, giving it a foreboding feeling.

Before a Large Cave~
~
The cave opens to the south, darkness filling it as it fills the rest of 
the forest. There seems to be a little light coming from the inside of the

~
The cave narrows down a little as it gets deeper into the earth. Water 
drips slowly from the roof of the cave causing small puddles on the

The Lair of a Shadow Dragon~
~
The cave opens wide into a great cavern. The shape of a massive shadow 
of a dragon moves around, without a body projecting it. Large mounds of 
treasure lay about the lair, but it all seems rather ancient.

Shadows flow about the area giving it the little life it has. Grand 
tapestries and pillars of pure marble decorate the seemingly dead castle.

Grand tapestries and pillars give the castle a very regal look. The 
castle is spacious and full of grandeur. Shadows move about the floors and 
walls seeming undisturbed by anything or anyone.

The tapestries flag in a slight breeze that flows through the halls and 
the pillars show dust from the castles old age and low maintenance.

Although the walls of the castle seem to be nothing but pure darkness, 
the tapestries and pillars and anything else that is decorative seems to

Darkness fills the area as a stair leads down from here. There are no 
decorations in this area of the castle, making it seem rather dark. The 
stair down is just pure darkness and nothing else but seems able to be 
walked on normally.

The Dungeon~
~
A violent room presents it's self here. Instruments of torture and death 
line the walls, from finger screws to iron maidens to a very large rack 
big enough for a troll to be stretched out to a very painful death.

The Dungeon~
~
Darkness flows as does the set up of ancient torture devices. Murderous 
weapons and tools lay strung about all over the room showing just how 
cruel the old master of this castle was towards people who ever it was 
didn't like.

An Abandoned Cell~
~
The cell is dark and cold. There doesn't seem to be anything in here not 
even a cot or a door. This cell seems almost like it was never used more 
then being out of use.

The cell is dark and clammy from not being used in a long time. Dust 
covers everything even the door that's broken off its hinges. There is a 
large hole pierced in the wall making it seem like someone of great power 
was locked in here once.

An Dungeon Cell~
~
This cell is rather complete compared to any other part of the castle. It 
is immaculately clean and in order, even the door is able to swing without 
making loud groans.

The East Stairwell~
~
The stair well moves up to the second floor. The stairs are magnificent 
things in themselves as they seem to be comprised of nothing but pure 
darkness rather then some kind of material found elsewhere in the world.

The East Stairwell~
~
The stairwell is made of a magnificent dark matter that seems to be 
nothing but pure darkness rather then any other material. To the west is

The large decorative tapestries line the halls along with large suits of 
armor the size of trolls. The hall is filled with pure darkness and 
otherwise nothing else besides a shadow moving around from time to time.

The path in the castle leads in several directions from here. A grand 
throne room can be seen to the south and a stairwell leads up into the 
tower of the castle. the other paths to the east and to the west move 
towards the stairs to go down to the lower level of the castle.

On the Second Floor~
~
Suits of armor line the walls here giving decoration along with the many 
tapestries and pillars. The hall is otherwise filled with nothing but 
darkness and the occasional shadow moving about the floor without any 
bodies projecting them.

The West Stairwell~
~
The stairwell spirals up to the second floor from here. Red carpet flows 
along the floor and each step. The stair seems stable enough to walk up 
without having and problems.

~
At the top of the west stairwell there are patterns of tapestries 
depicting a great war with many casualties. The east path leads onto the 
second floor of the castle and down leads to the first floor.

The Throne Room of the Shadow-God~
~
A large throng sits in the middle of the room adorned with gold and 
other rare metals and gems as well. The room is large, it's self adorned 
with giant tapestries that show pictures of war and violence.

~
A very strong magic can be sensed from here from the top of the tower. 
Unlike the rest of the castle and even the lost valley the tower is 
composed of bricks and mortar rather then pure darkness.

~
The tower continues up to the top where a bright light can be seen 
shining in the top. The walls are normal material now, but there are not 
pillars or tapestries which can be seen in the rest of the castle.

The Top of the Tower~
~
There is a bright statuette dedicated to the creator in the middle of 
the room. The light that the idol emits is of a strange appearance, it 
actually seems to be giving off the darkness that covers the lost valley.
