Gee, and I thought I was being encouraging! Oh well. If folks who
have implemented servers (and there are more than 2 or 3 in this list,
so there are some whose opinions we haven't heard yet), don't think it
is a workable thing, then there is a good chance it isn't. Since most
people tend to believe their own opinions, it is up to the one with the
differing opinion (you, in this case) to change their opinions. For my
part, I am best convinced by example - I tend to be an eternal skeptic.
And, just because I'm not convinced and am vocal, it doesn't mean that
the majority of the world won't embrace your ideas with open arms -
after all, I'm still not convinced of the merit of C++, WindowsXXX,
perl, tcl, multiple inheritance, rock music, social welfare, etc. etc.
