Doh!
Something is definitely not right. First I'd check the memory to make sure
it's okay; did you get 66mhz memory and put it in a 100mhz motherboard, or
something? You might also try using one DIMM at a time to see if one of them
has some sort of slowdown problem, and needs to be replaced.
If that's not the problem, then we'll need some info about the process itself.
Naturally this is going to depend on your platform; if it's a UNIX of some
sort, the output of 'ps -l' should be helpful, along with 'free' (that
one might be Linux-only) and perhaps 'top'.
Also, profile data about *which* tasks are taking longer might help.
