> >> Note: I'm not alking about a system enforced or guided justice
> >> system, but a set of tools which players can use to assemble their
> >> own justice system on the fly.
>
> > Ah. <Further pondering>.
>
> > I recall some of the justice stuff you were talking
> > about. Hmm. Giving players a way to take prisoner members of their
> > team (well, anyone).. then they could set up whatever sort of court
> > they wanted wherever they wanted.. hmm. What other tools would they
> > need, given that they already have weapons?
>
> Hurm. Given the basic if-it-moves-kill-it basis for the game, I'd
> suggest adding two features:
>
> -- ability to subdue and restrain a character.

Yeah. I liked Adam W's suggest of being able to 'pile on' and grab hold to
restrain (and move) a player. One on one (discounting equipment), your
even (and its upto chance), you need odds on your side (and thus,
coordination amidst team members)

Also objects to do this. Handcuffs to immobilise hands, shackles to slow
down movement (and ways to bind them to stationary objects).

> -- slow death forms (eg poisoning, infectious disease, strangulation
> etc).

Not sure about disease, but I quite like poison, and 'unarmed' attacks
which are less lethal. :) Cackle.

> The rest should pretty well be handled with the rest of your game
> supports, especially the tactical comms.

Yeah. Beginning to think along custom client lines for this thing (a
fairly small client download, if it happens), and allowing the client to
be extensible in various ways (eg having it pop up a 'scanner' window if
you have a suitable advanced scanner item, and so forth). This could
really add a lot to the game. Also considering rudimentary graphics.
